What does -No Pickles -No Onions mean to y'all? On several occasions since moving near this location, I've had to go back and get orders corrected. I shouldn't have to peel apart food the second I get it and drive back through the line when it's inevitably not right. Normally, it would just be annoying. However, today, we ordered food close to closing (which is apparently 10pm now). We opted for curbside pickup since that was the only option allowed. then our food sat on the counter for 15 minutes before we just went in and got it. We left quickly, it was late and we wanted to get home, and the burgers had labels on them stating -No Pickles -No Onions. Should be correct, right? Nope, and now they've closed (at 10pm). So we couldn't get it corrected even if we wanted to. You should have a talk with employees about making sure modified orders are prepared correctly. It may seem pedantic or whiny, but some customers have allergies or food sensitivites. Fast food is supposed to be comfy, fast, and convenient, and it is none of those when you have to get back in your car, drive back to the location, and avoid coming across like a Karen.
Update a year later: Still solidly thr worst McDonald's location in Monroe County, line for drive thru is always backed around the building and the inside is always packed. Food is produced at a snails pace, and I'm more surprised when it is made correctly than incorrectly. All other drive-thrus in the area don't seem to have issues with this amount of waiting customers.
Update two years later: Made the critical mistake of ordering here again, same problems. Missing items, slow service, incorrect food orders. Management doesn't seem to care much. They've put up notices insisting sauces are extra, etc. Wouldn't usually bug me if the location didn't suck. Literally just drive up towards the airport one if you want Maccas, probably faster, even...
Read more( West chili, NY ) The employee was simply unprofessional. I ordered a cheeseburger meal and three cookies for here. She gives me a cheeseburger and fries. I go back to the counter to ask for a cup and my cookies. Another employee gave me a cup, because I was still standing there waiting. Mind you the employee who took my order, was not busy, instead walked away. She walked over to the counter, I said excuse me, I did not get my cookies. She then says, okay and I show her my receipt. She walks away, I am standing there , by now other patrons are making comments about how she is so dismissive. My food is getting cold and I didn't get to make my drink. The employee comes back, no cookies but goes to the register to take customers orders, once the line is clear, I remind her a third time, she walks over to expedite orders and don't even try to attempt to get my cookies. I then get another employee attention and ask to speak with a manager. The result wasn't about getting a refund, it was about the employee and how unfairly treated I felt. No, I did not want my meal, instead I wanted the employee to tell me, why did she choose not to provide service as an employee to me...
Read moreI had best experience I have ever had at the Chili Ave McDonald's today. I placed a mobile order, service was prompt and food was hot and fresh. I could see cars consistently moving in the drive through, a big change from the 20 minute wait times I remember from last year.
Christian, the man working the front counter was exceptional. The care he showed for his customers was obvious from watching his interactions. He helped me carry my drinks to my car because I had a lot, we talked about how great the store is doing, how the manager has really turned the place around and how much pride the crew she has formed takes in their work. Christian made fresh lemonade for my order when he didn't think the lemonade they had prepared was up to standard. All of my food and drinks were correctly made and fresh. I will be visiting this McDonald's on a regular basis once again, thank you so much to Christian and the rest of the Chili McDonald's staff for turning around the staple fast food...
