Subway — Restaurant in Town of Chili

Walked into this location today about 12:20pm to get a foot long sub. There was one person behind the counter and I didn't know if anyone else was in the bldg. There were 2 people ahead of me and the staff started to make the sub(s) for the first person, then while they were being toasted, she went to the register, touched the keys, handled money, went back and touched the handle on the oven and then added more food to the customer's sub ALL WITHOUT CHANGING HER GLOVES! Then while keeping the same gloves on, she proceeded to make the next person's sub and did the same thing. Kept her gloves on while cashing the person out, touching the register keys and handling money, then went back and added food to the sub without changing her glove. I walked out. This is an infection control nightmare. And people wonder how hepatitis and other contact pathogens are spread. Does this person wash her hands after using...

Ugh usually have a great experience. The girl taking my order had her air pods in talking on the phone the whole time. That didn’t bother me much until she literally used her phone while making my sandwich. Phones have so many germs. She also scratched her face with the gloves while she was making my sandwich. I told her to change her gloves. (She said she used her knuckle and it was okay) The whole experience made me so uncomfortable. I can see if my food is wrong, if I have to to wait a while, but I will not stand for people not following sanitary protocols. Paid 22$ for sandwiches my fiancé and I are too grossed out to eat. 😓 usually the employees here are great but it seems to be going downhill. Don’t usually write reviews but this place is terrible. Can’t expect too much from subway but this is the worst sub I’ve ever seen lol. I go there to get an Italian assorted and they whisper “I hate when people order those. I don’t know how to make these.” So I get this pity of a sandwich rather than them simply just telling me they don’t sell them or whatever the issue was. I would’ve thought an Italian assorted is one of the most basic subs to order at any sub place but I guess I’m wrong. This is what I got for $8 VS what I got from DiBellas for $9. More like a veggie sub with a slice of pepperoni. Went back twice to try to get refund or speak to manager but of course she’s never there! Only works until 1pm on most days.
