The Royal Strawberry cheesecake blizzards are the only reason I drive 20 minutes to Dairy Queen and pay the $6.50 for a small, however my last 3 visits will have me not visiting anymore. 1/3 thought it was odd it had a lid and no flip but found out in their parking lot why, it was completely melted and got all over my cup holder, 2/3 got half way through while driving home when I realized there was not a single cheesecake chunk just vanilla ice cream & strawberries. I did call and was offered a free one by manager but never collected that as I wasn't going to be in the area..so I thought I'd give it another shot 3/3 right off the bat I noticed that for something with chucks the top was smoothed out, got 1/4 of the way into when I noticed it again didn't have cheesecake chunks but literally little FLAKES (cannot describe it any other way) of cheesecake that were more graham cracker then cheesecake. I don't know if they are cutting corners and hoping no one will notice but still charging the $6.50 for a small royal when they are clearly not making these as advertised any more. It's more of a graham cracker and Strawberry blizzard. It very disappointing especially since they were made properly before. It happening more then once isn't a coincidence. The first time the main part of the CHEESECAKE blizzard missing could've been just someone having an off day, which is why I was laughing when I called...but twice means they are cutting corners and...
Read moreMy husband & I went for lunch at this Dairy Queen. We both ordered a hamburger with mushrooms & cheese with fries & a drink. I got the unsweetened ice tea out of the machine, which tasted like a combination of the 4 ice teas available. Not great. We waited 15 min, for our order to be delivered, which was all right because we saw how busy it was. When I added ketchup to the burger, I counted 3 whole mushrooms, It wasn't until I started eating the burger did I realize it had mayonnaise on it, I didn't want to wait 15 min, for another burger without mayo because it wasn't worth it. Their "juicy" hamburger was a basic fast food patty. If they had a sign posting that their burgers came with mayonnaise, I didn't see it. Let's just say that this was our 1st & last meal at DQ,however, we may go back for ice cream at some time...
Read moreGreat food, service questionable. Today We visited DQ for food, and Blizzards. Burgers is fries are always enjoyable, as are chicken fingers. Blizzards were melty as the were served along side the meal, instead of after, as a desert should be. The real problem though is service. Everyone wants to be a leader, nobody can lead though. Instead of defecation stations, and assignments, it's a free for all of people bumping into each other. This slows down the whole production. When the cook, pr ice cream guy is also running register, the expedator is making ice cream as a result, it's not teamwork, it's a trainwreck. One employee actually threw her hands up, and walked off to regain composure. Someone needs to be in charge, and sadly nobody is. Again though the...
