Marshalls — Local services in Town of Cicero

I always enjoy shopping at Marshall's but during this visit I encountered a snarky sales girl in the women's apparel section. I tried on a tie wrap dress over my clothes to see it in one of the mirrors they provide thru that area. She said Ma'am you know we have fitting rooms. If what I did was so strange then why would they have mirrors everywhere. It isn't necessary for me to take every garment to the fitting rooms if I can slip it on and quickly determine that it is for me. I told her I didn't want to take everything in there and was just eliminating some choices. I also said I could not figure out the way the dress tied. She just looked at me and didn't respond to either statement and left. Not the way an associate should treat a customer. I am sure that other very friendly sales associates there would have taken a moment to look at the dress with me to show me...

Went in to get a pair of shoes and they had exactly what I wanted. The display had a red sticker on it, and I made sure I grabbed the same shoes as the display. When I went to pay for them, they rang up more expensive. I questioned it and was given attitude. When the manager came back up she stated it was a different shipment and I asked then I want the shoes that are displayed and she said she couldn't give them to me. It was a 6 dollar difference. I had to argue that I grabbed exactly what was on display matching the tags and you're telling me it's different because of the shipment. How is this my issue. Lady was rude and finally gave it to me for 5 bucks less, then 6 when I again had to argue the stupid dollar difference after that. I think she was trying to prove a point to me, but never the less the manager was rude and next time, I will be...

I was at Marshall’s today, and I had a horrible experience with a lady at the counter who refused to let me return nails. The nails had glue on some and no glue on the others, which is why we were taking them back. She said the glue missing on some meant that they were used…and refused to let us return them. Mind you the nails came with glue on them for some reason. I come to Marshall’s daily and have spent hundreds, if not thousands every employee in Marshall’s is great. This employee seemed to have a personal vendetta against me…and did not believe me even with a receipt. This was around 12:20 4/8. Moral of the story, assume positive intent. What happened to good...
