I don't think I've ever been more sickened in my life.
I have very little free time throughout my day. If I find the rare opportunity to get a quick lunch, I'll only choose to buy a meal from a business prioritizing customer service and product quality.
Apparently, my choice today is where I went wrong.
I ordered my usual- a quarter pounder cheese burger meal, but plain- just meat, bun, and cheese. Medium. I didn't feel this was unreasonable, nor was I remotely rude when ordering it.
However, your company representative responded to my humble request with nothing but disdain. I didn't mean to offend your employee, but you would think I asked her to move a piano collection to the 30th floor of a building with no elevators. Her reply was completely disproportionate to my polite manner. I was met with rude defensiveness and an irascible attitude. Suddenly, I felt as if I was in the wrong- vilified in the safe haven I chose for my lunch today. Where can I feel secure, if not in the oasis of McDonald's?
Afterwards, I received my "food". The French fries were fantastic, as was the beverage. However, things turned an almost-expected turn for the worse when I opened my burger.
First of all, the still-cold and solid slice of cheese on the burger was an indicator I was not destined for a cuisine delectation. But despite all warning signs, I bit into the sandwich... This "burger" might as well have been human excrement enveloped by a ShamWow. I've never tried to consume such a stale, inedible excuse for a meal than this detritus. If this is an example of the typical nourishment you provide to customers, you should be charged with a crime.
However. I know this is not the usual quality of service/food. I chose McDonald's for a reason, after all.
I can only assume this attempt to compromise my health is a retaliation to my "unreasonable" request to order a plain burger. Based on your employee's antagonistic behavior, I believe my meal earlier was purposefully sabotaged.
And in McDonald's, of all places! I've decided not to press legal charges, but I am absolutely disgusted. I will certainly never visit this particular location again.
By the way, my receipt number is 1264, and I was there at 3:14pm on 12/02/2021. Not that it matters. After years of loyalty, I may never visit another...
Read moreSome of the worst customer service I've ever received in my life. The manager is not only disrespectful, but downright mean and nasty. Not to mention, they don't turn their grills on till two or three in the afternoon half the time. The staff is rude and lazy. I understand fast food is a difficult job, I've worked in fast food for the last 12 years. but the customer is the most important part of your business. Customer is not always right, but customers keep your business alive and it's important to treat your customers kindly and respectfully. It's one of the most important parts of running a business. I went to the counter to ask the manager simple question, didn't think much of it until she turned and looked at me with a sneer, got very angry and started making nasty remarks to me. I understand everybody has bad days, and I was not trying to cause any problems. I was just asking about the price of something. After I left the counter, I heard her saying nasty things about me to her other employees. Making mean comments about my physical appearance. it really hurt my feelings, and I was absolutely shocked and confused as to what the hell was going on. As a fast food manager myself, If I caught any of my employees speaking to a customer the way I was treated, they would be fired on the spot. I don't play that in my restaurant. Many of the employees at this location are just as rude as their manager, who has apparently taught them that it's OK to speak to people however you please. I will be making sure none of my friends and family visit this location again, And I can't imagine it will be open much longer. A bad experience at a restaurant is something that many people carry with them for the rest of their lives. I truly hope this horrible horrible group of people learn how to be kind to others, or are fired. Until then, I will not be returning. And neither will my large social media following, Who will be hearing about this unfortunate incident. McDonald's really...
Read moreWhere do I begin...my good God!!! This McDonalds was the one on Transit Road, between Maple and Sheridan...I don't know the name of that part of Buffalo. We went there this evening around 9:30...there were a bunch of young lads running the show... We waited for more than usual to place our order...and were given the perfunctory number after the order was placed. 20 minutes I went to the counter to see what the hold up was.....that darned beeper was allowed to blare for 50x...yes I counted. I asked where our order was...it was like I was speaking in another language as I was stared at with a vague stare. They had forgotten the order. I had to remind the counter person what we had ordered... I was handed a newly made COLD latte, the fries were cold on the tray. The guy changed out the Fries. The latte was microwaved to reheat it. We were not given milk, nor sugar for both beverages . And that beeper beeped and beeped for several minutes several times...the counter/kitchen workers were not fazed by the annoying beeper. Over and over and.... Another bunch of customers waited for several minutes, almost to the point of walking out. I would like the owner to write to me because we were disgusted with the staff at that time who did not give a royal hoot about the horrible service. The attending staff just mozied around with no sense of urgency that accompanies working in fast food. Their service was definitely NOT professional, despite the ongoing bad opinion people have about McDonalds in general. The staff could not care less that there were unhappy customers. I can keep on going but I've said plenty to hopefully have the franchisee takes a look at his staffing. I'd suggest that franchiser/head office should scrutinize their franchises instead of resting on the laurels of being one of the mainstays in any...
