Update
The changes that took place since I last ate here were amazing. It was a couple of months ago, but I forgot to update. The food was so good everything we tasted was mouthwatering delicious. The pork tacos were amazing, and with that finishing salt, it was like a minister saying to the perfect couple at their wedding, "I pronounce you, man and wife." If you want to know what a good, fresh, flavorful luxury taco taste like, this is the place for you. I'm actually still debating if they've actually become number one in my life. I have to go back to the taco project and eat their food again to see who will reign Supreme in my life. So good, so good.

I had the chicken taco, the shrimp taco, chips, and guacamole (not by myself). The ingredients definitely tasted fresh, and the combination of ingredients and flavors you know deep down they wanted to work, but I felt like something was missing, and I could only narrow it down to the seasoning. The chicken was tender and juicy but didn't taste like much, I don't even think salt was used; my taste buds were confused, it's like you know it's supposed to taste better than this; by no means was the food nasty it was good I just felt like it was supposed to be more. It's like your favorite show being canceled and alot of things are left unresolved (that feeling) The shrimp taco was good, the shrimp was amazing but I felt like the sauce needed to be more flavorful; it's like the shrimp was begging to be complimented by the sauce but the sauce was playing hard to get. The rice and beans, I give that a 4 by itself. The chips were good, but the guacamole is probably last on my list of guacamole I've tasted. I don't know if it needed more cilantro red onions or what. The lime was very overpowering. I felt like I was eating lime infused avocados with garnish. Would I go back to try something else, maybe but when I want a taco, I'll go to haverstraw or if I want a fancy taco, I'll go...

First off, the staff were very friendly, attentive and I appreciated the open and welcoming atmosphere that they gave off! They made sure we had everything we needed and more, checking on us and often giving us a glance in case we needed anything else.
The food was very filling but even after ordering Nachos, Birria Tacos, Tacos with Black Angus Skirt Steak, and Arroz con Tres Leches, we felt amazingly satisfied. The Nachos we felt could've had a little more chorizo but the chips themselves were very Crunchy.
We also ordered one Jarrito, one Sangria, and Pineapple Agua Fresca which were all refreshing. We were curious about the Pineapple Fresca as it tasted like it was straight Pineapple juice. The price we also felt was a lot for what felt like a small but it was delicious and refreshing nonetheless. The Sangria on Wednesdays is half off which almost made us order two but we held off as we were all set.
The architecture was beautiful and almost felt authentic, I loved the feel of the open kitchen concept as we saw the staff working, laughing, conversing, and it looked like they genuinely liked their jobs. Not one person was standing around even when we were the only 2 in the entire dining area. Which changed in a matter of 10 minutes the dining room filled with other customers. The customer quickly sat themselves and 1 needed an extra chair for their party of 5 which the employee quickly pulled from somewhere which was great as no other table or chairs were missing from other tables.
On top of all that they also do Door Dash and to-go orders.
We would recommend going here if you haven't already as this is our now go-to spot for all things Mexican. Thank you to the staff for your amazing...
Read moreI happened to notice the giant illuminated "TACO" sign in the window when I was in the plaza visiting another place. I made a mental note to check out the place on Google once I got home. It had great reviews and the food looked and sounded amazing. Well, tonight I convinced my husband to come try out this new spot I discovered, keeping my fingers crossed that it wouldn't be a disappointment. Can I just say it was , hands down, the best tacos my husband and I have ever tasted. So much interesting flavors paired up and happening all at once. Hard to explain, but I could taste, sweet, spicy, crunchy, soft. I opted for the organic chicken taco and my husband had the marinated shrimp taco. We also had the Nachos. Never had nachos like these before. I would highly recommend the craft nachos. Let me just say, it was a great dining experience and my husband and I will definitely be returning , and are eager to try some of the other dishes. Our waiter John, had the most charming personality and was super knowledgeable about the menu. The restaurant itself is clean, and cozy, with an intimate vibe, where you can see the chefs preparing the food. I wish I took a picture of our dishes, but it looked so delicious when it was brought out, we immediately dove right in. Next time , I'll take pics, just to show the presentation of each dish. Hats off...
