Kobe Sushi Lounge — Restaurant in Town of Clarkstown

I love this restaurant! Every time I visit my family, we end up here. The food is always fresh and delicious. I know my parents are big fans of the sake-tini and I am more partial to the beer menu.

Last night I had the special BBQ Dragon Calamari Roll and the Fancy Crab Roll. Both were delicious, but I cannot recommend the Calamari Roll more than I already am. I even asked the waitress if they would add it to the menu, but apparently it takes so long to make that they just have it on the special menu for slower days. If it's on the menu, get it, you won't regret it (unless you don't like calamari).

Beyond the food, the service is great and the staff is beyond nice. Prices are a little high ($10-$15/roll), but the quality is worth it.

*Side note: purchased a small miso soup ($2), and the 2 rolls and was completely filled.

Recently visited Kobe for the first time on a Saturday night with my amazing wife. I usually order Sashimi and this time I ordered for two since my wife wanted to join me on sharing the tasty fish. I would say it was very good quality fish (salmon, tuna, yellow tail, mackerel & octopus). The best part was that they had a husband and wife duo on the piano & guitar performing top hits and any request. It was a surprise great surprise to us. The ambience is nice and cozy since the restaurant is not too small or overly large which can sometimes be noisy. They have plenty of drinks to choose from specially a good Sake selection. We absolutely love it here at Kobe. We’re local to New City and used to go to another Japanese restaurant until we discovered Kobe about 4yrs ago. Since then we are regulars, we all love it - my husband and 3 daughters. We celebrate almost all of our family birthdays here - it’s always a good time. They always have something fun going on, most recently we attended their Anniversary party and everyone who attended had the opportunity to win a prize . They really appreciate their customers . The fish is fresh, the martinis are strong, the staff is always so gracious and pleasant. I can’t believe I hadn’t left a review sooner . We love KOBE it’s the best restaurant in New City...
