Goldberg Famous Bagels — Restaurant in Town of Clarkstown

Sadly, I have to give 1 for service; The food is great, but the customer service is horrible. When you call no one ever answers the phone and then the voicemail greeting tells you to place your order on the app and several times I do that and go to pick up my order and no one pays attention to the app when the orders come through, so I literally have to stand and wait for my order to be prepped and cooked because they realize no 1 ever started the order or even took notice of a new order for that matter; So that completely negates the purpose of the "pick up your order" app. With multiple people behind the counter, there should be no reason for no 1 answering and the slow service. The service is horrible, which is a disappointment cause it would thrive way...

Hadn’t been here in awhile, but now know why. I ordered a simple 2 eggs over hard w/ham on a roll w/salt, pepper & ketchup. Wait time not bad but other customers jumping in front of others to either add to or adjust their orders. Ok…this is New City and there is no shortage of selfish and self centered people here. Lol…I get & pay for my sandwich, drop a $1 tip and go home only to find that there is no salt pepper & ketchup on my sandwich. The sandwich is also not cut in half. Worse place ever!! They never get my order correct, mind you I order the simplest thing ever: a bagel toasted with butter. Employees are in such a rush to get you out that they don’t even properly make the order. One time the lady at the counter didn’t toast it, so I had her fix it, it wasn’t until I got to work that I noticed she put cream cheese instead of butter, I couldn’t do anything about it but throw it out.
