I frequent the area and was looking to try something different for the first time in a while. Fortunately for me, Sangria's exceeded my expectations. Arriving for lunch, it was not too crowded, but there is a lot of space for dining. I can see there are some nice pictures of the interior, but they do not do justice to the ambiance. To compare it, I'd say it feels similar to the vibes of entering the Mexico Pavilion at Epcot. The lady who served me was very kind and knowledgable of the menu, and the food was great as well. I'm not a big Mexican food eater, so I went with a steak burrito and chimichanga combination. Both were SO good, and exactly what I wanted. I know most people love the whole sour cream, beans, etc thing, and it was on the side which made someone like myself who just wanted steak, cheese, and rice very happy. The person I was with had shrimp fajitas which were also very good. I had a peach sangria (how does one not order a drink with the same name as the place?) and it was perfectly refreshing for a hot summer day. Will definitely...
Read moreI went here last night around 8pm. It was pretty empty other than a few other ppl. I was seated quickly a waitress came by to take my order. I gave her my order and then realized she never gave me her name which is customary as a waitress. She gives it to me.. “Rebecca” and then asks for mine which is not customary and a little weird but hey I gave it to her. I asked for a straw for my water and salt on the rim of my margarita and I was missing both and had to ask again. Other than that service was ok. The food… steak fajitas were just OK. Tender but there was a lack of something.. seasoning I don’t know. The chips and salsa were just ok. The salsa didn’t have any kick and was too thin for my liking. The drink was the best part. Passion margarita . Strong and sweet. Overall I wasn’t very impressed and probably won’t be back. I don’t think it...
Read moreI went to Sangria's in Nanuet for the first time this weekend to have dinner with friends. The atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming. We started with the guacamole, which was fantastic. The cocktails were also spot on. We all had different main dishes- chicken, shrimp, vegetarian- and everyone really enjoyed their meal. The staff was attentive and friendly without hovering. My friends and I hadn't all gotten together since before Covid, so we had a lot of catching up to do. The conversation turned to some serious topics and before we knew it, we were the last ones in the place! The staff was really gracious and never once rushed us, even though I'm sure they all just wanted to go home. I highly recommend Sangria's if you want a friendly, casual atmosphere with delicious food. I will...
