I went through the drive-thru this morning, just like I do every other morning. I told the girl my order which was a coffee with cream. This is the same exact order that I get every single day, sometimes twice a day. The girl then mentioned, politely, that their ovens were not working and that I could not get anything warm. I was confused since I had just ordered a coffee so I clarified by asking "does that affect the coffee order?" I was very polite to her and was just making sure the coffee order would be fine. Suddenly another woman gets on the intercom and yells "she said NOTHING about your coffee!" I was shocked so I pulled up to the window. The regular nice girl was there looking upset so I said to her "I know that wasn't you on the intercom because you are always nice but who was that?" She said that there are a lot of people on the intercom so she wasn't sure. I said that was fine and that I would like to speak to the manager on duty. The manager came over and it ended up being the one who yelled at me on the intercom. I asked her why she yelled about it and she rolled her eyes and said "she was just trying to explain to you about the ovens!" I asked her again why she needed to yell about it at which point she said "do you want your coffee or not?" I said that I did and then she shoved the coffee at me and slammed the drive-thru window. I was in shock as I drove away. As I went to drink my coffee I then noticed that it was almost all cream, cold, and barely any coffee - obviously not...
ย ย ย Read moreI order daily, as I work down the road. My last 3 or 4 orders, Doordash has had to refund me because this Dunkin can't be bothered to warm up a simple crossoint. I order today and call right after my order is placed to see if I can make sure my crossoint is toasted for once(I NEVER mark for untoasted, I've checked as mistakes happen) whomever answered the phone today (12/19/2023 @ around 9:50am) tried assuring me multiple times that it's impossible for my crossoint to have not been toasted multiple times in a row, even after telling her I have clear pictures of unsliced and untoasted crossoints on different occasions. Just own up to the damn mistake or just say ok, will do! Why argue? Hence why you were hung up ma'am after I said ok, thanks. No, this isn't a big deal, but quite irritating to be called a liar basically over a $3 untoasted crossoint. I tip the drivers more than that ๐
update! - order came, guess what?!?! STILL NEVER TOASTED, COLDER THAN OUTSIDE! Then the manager tried telling me i have to mark 'toasted and sliced" after the previous person who answered says it comes toasted unless marked otherwise. When I got up to the restaurant I sat at the speaker for a good 5+ minutes. The employee came on and said "we're closed" I said "but I placed an order on the app" The employee stated "well we're closed and we don't have tea" -- So this tells me that they saw my order. I was like "what? you're closed? It's 5:20pm" She then started laughing at me and said "yeah we're closed" and I said "well I need a refund" She said (still laughing) "you have to get one from the app." Not an option on the app. No concept of customer service AT ALL. This wouldn't have bothered me if she wasn't so rude. And why were they closed so early, when they are supposed to be open until 8pm? I called the customer service number, the rep took my info. He was very nice and apologetic. He said the manager of the location would call me. Asst Mgr (Kayla?) called the next day and left me a msg, as I was working. I have tried this person back 6 times since. Call goes right to vm (and no vm set up). And I still haven't received a refund. Not happy! This is honestly the worst Dunkin...
