Encore Lounge — Restaurant in Town of Colonie

This deserves 0 stars. Got to encore at 9:07 and told them I was here. I was told by one of the workers to wait till the lady with the white hat came out the room. Time went on and the lady finally came out. I told the lady who I was and she said that I was already checked in and the ppl were in my room. I told them my entire group of 20 ppl are right here and it wasn’t us. They went to that room and inform the other party that they got the wrong room . The guy came back and said he was going to make this right. Well they ended up having to clean the room and me and my party waited. Finally 9:38 we were brought back. I noticed the time was started and ask the lady to fix the time. The lady said I was late and that was the time that I had left about 1 hour 20 mins when I paid for 2 hours and was 7 mins late. I told her I was not late and check the cameras . Well the check the came and came back and said that I got there at 9:07 but the most they could do is give me 10 mins instead of my 30 mins. This turned into a big agrumeng that lasted 25 mins of the time meaning 55 mins of my time . The lady ended up locking us out of the karaoke music because she was upset that I had facts when at the end of the day the time said I “supposedly “ had about 1 hour left. We get to arguing once again about my time when I spent $140 on this room. My birthday was ruined because of the staff and their miscommunication between their self. And let not forget that they are adding tips on the drinks without permission or a sign saying gratuity is already added when it’s not. They are stealing ppl money. And please don’t think I didn’t realize. My drink was $16 my card said I was charged $23 . Why would I tip you if you messed up my birthday.make it make sense. Your staff especially that fake manger female with the white bucket hat( I bet you your never wear it again after the review) you have who don’t know how to tell time or do refund. You suck at your job. And thank you for ruining my bday. I’ll be back to...

We rented a private room for a birthday celebration. We used up about 15 minutes of our time talking with the hostess and putting in drink orders and that took about 15 minutes to arrive. I think she was the only hostess working multiple rooms and helping at the bar. But the frozen margaritas were good. Very strong according to the drinkers in the party. The music selection was decent and sound system great. We didnt get any food. My only suggestion for improvement is with the floors. They were so sticky that i almost fell over when i had been standing in one spot for a few minutes and then went to move and only one foot came off the floor. I got a laugh and a helping hand from my son but, i think a strong cleaning solution to clean up those drink spills is needed. 🙂. All told we were happy with our night and would...

Management unfriendly. We had a slot for 10p-11p and arrived at 10:00. Had to wait for everyone to be carded and let in, then wait for the bartenders to be free for them to check us in for the karaoke room (were told we couldn’t do it at the door, and bar tenders were the only staff to also run the karaoke rooms). All in all 10 minutes of us having been there before helped to get to the room, which we were then told was cut into our time with no leeway. Management outright rude to the group, so plan to be there way before your time if you want to use the full hour. Actual room was very nice, private bathroom, great experience with friends although somewhat limited selection for certain artists. Music was cut off promptly at the turn of the hour.
