I Love New York Pizza — Restaurant in Town of Colonie

I order special- 12 cut pie and 20 wings with a 2 liter soda. Wings requested were garlic parm mixed with bbq. Wing were soaked in oil clumps of bbq sauce. My order was picked up at 7pm and I had mu 2 young children with me I called the restaurant and was advised they closed at 9pm. My husband got off of work a little later so we missed it that night. The next day we were rudely advised that the order van not be changed because the register had been closed out. I advised her if my young children and my husband working late and was blatantly told "it's not my problem". Finally she agreed if I returned the wings, she would make a new order. My husband had yhr wings that we didn't touch and we were refused again because I did not have them. I have order from them countless time but NEVER AGAIN. $43 down the drain because the pizza was gross but I had already given to my children because it was supposed to be dinner. Been going here for over 10 years, and it's not the same. Had a 6-7 year stretch where I was coming out to Colonie consistently, then the last couple of years the company I work for didn't pick up anything, but now we're back.

The pizza used to be great, now, it's OK. Floppy, a little on the greasy side, so the crust isn't crisp, it's soft. You don't get a reasonably "stiff" piece of pizza, it sags.

Also, the sausage topping used to be my favorite, but I swear, in the last couple of years, at some point, they changed it, it's not as good.

Haven't had the wings in a while, but they used to be fantastic, hoping they they still are, as I'm going to grab some in the coming days.

It's edible and priced in line with everyone else, but it's no longer a place I look forward to going to, which stinks, cuz it was so...

This is the closest pizza place to my house and I really wanted to love it so we gave it another try. We will never waste out money here again. What I got can only be described as a greasy, floppy, and flavorless mess. Most of my slice was crust. There was no sauce and it oozed of grease. The crust was so thin and floppy that the integrity of the slice was entirely compromised. Could not even pick it up to take a bite without the ingredients sliding off. This is our second bad experience with this place which only tells me that this place is consistently BAD. For almost $9 for only 2 slices this place is not worth the convenience.
