I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bol Mediterranean Grill on Central Avenue, and I must say, it was an experience worth raving about! From the moment I stepped inside, I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and inviting atmosphere of the place.
The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the food. I ordered the Lamb Pita, and though the order took a little longer than expected, the wait was absolutely worth it. This is not a fast-food joint; the freshness of the ingredients and the quality of the preparation are evident in every bite. The lamb was so flavorful and tender that I found myself slowing down to savor each mouthful.
I must give special mention to the basmati rice. It was so delicious that it could easily stand on its own as a dish. The attention to detail in its preparation was clear, and it complemented the lamb perfectly.
The staff at Bol Mediterranean Grill were incredibly friendly and exuded positive vibes, enhancing the overall dining experience. I was pleasantly surprised when my food was served at my table with real utensils, not plastic! This small touch made the meal feel even more personal and enjoyable.
I highly recommend Bol Mediterranean Grill to anyone seeking quality, fresh Mediterranean food. Whether you’re a fan of lamb or simply appreciate well-prepared dishes, this place is sure to impress. Don’t miss out on this gem on...
Read moreI was excited to try this place cuz I see it had very good reviews. My first impression was not good when I walked in. The menus on the table were dirty and the floor was extremely sticky to the point where it was making my Crocs make a sticky noise and they were littery sticking to the floor. When I looked at the juice machines where they had their specialty drinks they have a scum on the top and where the lever was to get the juice out had all black mold underneath it and it automatically made me squeamish. I'm hoping it wasn't black mold and I'm hoping it was just sediment from the juices so if it was I'm sorry but it's kind of gross to see it in those particular spots cuz it makes you question. The food itself was very good and I like the white sauce and I also like the Falafel and the chicken in my son's Pita was very tasty. I really like the pita it was very soft. The only thing I didn't like was how juicy it was, I kept getting it all over the table, my shirt and it was everywhere even running down my arms. I really like the fries with the white sauce, that was really yummy and I liked all the spices. For two of us to have a pita and one order of french fries and two drinks it cost 41 bucks. Which I think is a little too expensive in my opinion for what we got. In conclusion the food is the main attraction of the place but the place it self was...
Read moreFlavors are good. Service is polite. Order at the counter and have the food carted to you when ready. Takeout orders are getting half the food vs dine-in.
We waited quite some time for our order to come out, and when it did, it was in takeout containers. Unfortunately for us, the takeout containers look like it holds about half the food they give to dine-ins- which honestly looked amazing, judging from the huge platters our neighbors received. The man delivering it was very apologetic and left us some clean bowls to use with our meal.
Overall food was fine. Takeout size is not worth the cost, especially considering aria kabob is just minute down the road. Some parts of the lettuce in the salad was wilted and slimy. Everything else was fine. The bowl concept makes it work.
The bowl and utensils take back area is right next to the entrance, which feels a bit awkward and crowded, especially if someone else is coming in as you are dropping off your trash
This is a new business that is clearly trying to cut costs but forgetting that they are making a customer's first impressions for their business, or just needs to consider the customer experience just a little more. It definitely has a niche in the area, but is currently overpriced and not competitive...
