There are several better options in the area than this place. I had my first (and last) meal here tonight (6/11/21). Took my son who is not a particularly picky eater. None of the standard menu options looked good to him (too complex, not kid friendly). We chose the ā€œbuild your own bowlā€ option for my son. The ingredient choices were not listed anywhere (what kind of bases are we supposed to chose from? Your just supposed to know) and nothing was labeled. We didn’t know what half of the items behind the counter were, and the employee was barely willing to help. Although I told the employee that it was our first time and I clearly had my kid with me, she did little to help us understand how to order or clarify the food choices. They weren’t even busy. One other person was in line. So my son ended up with a small bowl of cold plain rice noodles and a smattering of chicken - for the low low price of $10…!!! The next employee was outright rude to us. I was under the impression that his meal was going to be $5.75. Apparently adding the tiny bit of chicken was $4.00 more (see the picture). We paid over $22 for two small bowls (one of which had hardly any food) and a small lemonade. The food was mediocre, prices too high, and the service was terrible. Go to Chipotle or some other place. (We could have purchased a much better healthy meal at Chipotle for half the price). I highly recommend you save your money and the aggravation of going to this restaurant.

Fantastic, if you think about what you're doing. I always get the build your own to get exactly what I want. You can't just randomly put stuff in, you have to think about how the flavors and textures interact. So here's my recommendations. Base 1 is spicy Thai noodles. They aren't really spicy but the texture is great. I always get cheddar cheese and hard boiled egg. The rest varies depending if you want soup (broth) or salad (spinach). The salad youd want more crunchy things like broccoli, chips, nuts. The soup would be softer things like corn, beans. They have dozens of ingredients, most at no extra cost and you can choose 5. Then of course choice of protein, or none. It's a large amount of food for the price and Its great, fresh and healthy! Excuse the photo lighting, it was taken in my car in the dark. Which, by the way the building looks so cool in the dark! Also recommend the various lemonade, fruit, iced coffee and tea drinks.

I've been going to the CoreLife in Liverpool for quite sometime. Even during the rush they've been polite, expediant, and clean. The opposite is true for the CoreLife in Latham. Multiple items were not available (tofu, falafel, etc) and the counter was an absolute mess! They almost need two extra people just to clean up after everyone else. No dine-in dishes available, dressing all over the place, brocollini hanging out in the mashed potatoes and more. I requested vegetarian plate and had to almost yell at the guy right before he threw some chicken on it. I asked for Brussel sprouts when they didn't inform me it had bacon on it. I know they were busy but they are just making it more difficult for the customers and themselves by not paying more attention to their workspace. I love the CoreLife in Liverpool but I guess it set the bar too high.

I have been to the Clifton Park location so was happy to see there was one now in Latham. I will say after my experience I may just stick with the Clifton Park location. I ordered my food and I'm watching the girl make it and see she ran out of one of the ingredients. She just keeps putting the remaining stuff in it and slides it down to the next person who was just as equally unenthused as the first. It gets passed to another staff (there was a lot of people on) and I ask her about it and say isn't there supposed to be more and she actually showed concern and went and asked but then came back and told me they were out and that it would take 7 minutes for more and then just stared at me blankly. Now my issue is why didn't the person who initially made my bowl try to see if there was more and tell me about the wait for it or offer me something else in its place? Then I get to the register already annoyed, and that staff was a gem too. She bagged my stuff super quick and pushed the bag towards me. She asked if I wanted anything to drink and if I wanted plastic utensils, I said yes to the utensils. She then proceeded to throw a plastic fork from a ways away into my bag like she was shooting hoops and turned her back and started talking to another staff member who was standing with her, again....lots of staff on. I was extremely annoyed at this point and if I wasn't on my lunch break having to leave quickly I probably would have asked to speak to a manager. I was sure to tell my coworkers when I got back to my office about the experience, I am hoping when it is less new and the staff are more seasoned the service wont suck as much. I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because the food...

Today, I have the worst humiliation that I have had in my 53 years of age. I was meeting Mark ( VP of Operations) for a second interview, after having my first one with a real talented Professional. I got there 2 hours early to eat something and look arround the restaurant. I bought a new suit and shoes to meet this person (Mark). He not even asked my name. Looked at me with disgust. And I made a comment about the beautiful place and the lack of cleanness. He said to me " you don't have to tell me what to do here this interview is over". I apologized many times if I said something wrong. He said just go. I have been a restaurant manager for over 20 years and I know that restaurants are suffering for the lack of staff. Then I understood why the staff looks so angry and unhappy. Food is great but this VP is a horrible human being doing the wrong job. Anyways. The tables are really dirty and they are not sanitize at all. Black dirt oll over the floors, dirty toilet, I mean nasty, real nasty. I have one corelife one block from my condo in Clifton Park. Trust me not one from this 200 condo, will visit that place ever. I heard managers are racist and now I know why. MR. VP YOU COULD LEARN A LOT FROM ME BUT YOU ARE a RACIST AND REFUSED TO GIVE ME AN INTERVIEW JUST BECAUSE THE PLACE IS NO IN SANITARY CONDITIONS. VERY, VERY DIRTY EVERYWHERE YOU LOOK. SHAME ON YOU. MARK, I BELIEVE IN karma. Poor guys working there and being treated so poorly by the managers and VPs. Shame on you...
