Extremely Disappointing Experience – Unprofessional Service and Misleading Hours (10/12/24)
I arrived at your location around 1:30, expecting service based on the hours listed on your website, which state you’re open until 2:00. There was a car in front of me that waited at the speaker for nearly 10 minutes before leaving without receiving any assistance. I remained patient, waiting another 10 minutes, repeatedly asking if anyone was there through the speaker, but received no response. After 20 minutes of waiting with no communication, I finally got out of my car to check what was going on.
When I approached the window, one staff member blatantly ignored me, while another casually informed me that the store was closed. By this time, it was 1:50, and there were four cars behind me, all waiting without any indication that the store had closed early. No signs, no communication, just silence.
This experience was beyond frustrating. If your hours have changed, you need to update them on your website to avoid misleading customers. Closing 30 minutes early without notifying those who have been patiently waiting is not only unprofessional but downright disrespectful. A simple notice or a heads-up would have prevented this frustrating situation.
I can understand if unforeseen circumstances arise, but leaving customers to sit in confusion for 20+ minutes without even a basic courtesy of acknowledging that you’ve closed early is unacceptable. Read moreUpdate 05/08/2024 - I just went through the drive thru at this Taco Bell in Latham at 7:10pm - I ordered the Cantina Bowl with seasoned beef in place of the chicken, and it was fresh and delicious! I wasn't sure what to expect of the bowl because I'd never gotten one at a Taco Bell before, so I also ordered a Beef Supreme Chalupa - just in case I didn't like the bowl. Wow! The chalupa was done perfectly - the shell actually had a crispy crunch to it (the way it should) and all of the ingredients were spread through the chalupa so that every bite had every ingredient in it! I couldn't have made it better myself :) Thank you, Taco Bell of Latham, for exceeding my expectations tonight! I'm upgrading my stars on this place :)
I ordered a Beef Supreme Burrito and a Beef Chalupa Supreme at 7:00 pm. The person who took our order was polite. The service was pretty quick today and I actually got beef in my Chalupa, so that was good. However, today also marks the 10th out of 20 orders of beef supreme burritos I’ve ordered that was not correct. All I got was a tortilla with beans, onions, and tomatoes wrapped in it. My receipt says “Beef Supreme Bur” so I know they didn’t misunderstand my order. They just failed to put in the beef, cheese, and the sour cream. This is a frequently repeated problem. Read moreCame here shortly before closing a few days ago via drive-thru. The guy taking my order was very nice although it was his first day and he was figuring out the buttons his personality made for a pleasant experience. When I received my bag of food the receipt on it looked correct. When I got to my hotel there was an item missing and a few of the items looked like they had been thrown together. The burritos were double wrapped with 2 tortillas which was odd but what was most disappointing was one of the Doritos Locos Tacos had only a small amount of meat in it and a few pieces of lettuce. The hard shell tacos were all mushy as well. One of the chips had hairs and crumbs in it like it had been on the floor. I tried calling the store that night but it went straight to busy assuming because it was close go their closing time. My fiancé called the store the next day, spoke to the manager and basically got called a liar and 'broke' calling to get free Taco Bell... the manager stated he was there and there's no way this happened even though he was able to give my name which was on my order!
