Hate to post this because I heard so many great things - and maybe it was just an anomaly, I don't know but... My first time here, ordered 4 sandwiches, each on a roll. 2 had chicken cutlets, both were good. I'm surprised I'm saying this but, the 4 of us universally agreed the cutlets were too thick. They were tender enough but they dried out as you chewed because they were just too thick. Though this is a small complaint, I would get them again. They're probably better suited to a dinner or with sauce.
1 sandwich was ham and cheese, the other an Italian combo, which you'd think is a specialty of a great Italian deli. The combo was unimpressive. The ham sandwich was solid, no complaints there but take a look at the pic and check out the contrast between the two. I get that Italian cold cuts have gotten more expensive but you still have to be able to make a good sandwich regardless. The taste was decent but... It's pretty clear they chinzed...
Read moreI guess it matters who makes your sandwich. Italian wedge dry barely any Lettuce tomato (is there a shortage?) underwhelming type of meats although plentiful.... again dry couldn't tell if they even put dressing or oil and vinegar on it, basically meat on bread, $11. Roast beef wedge, again shortage of requested lettuce and tomato, barely any.. Why?? Is there a lettuce and tomato shortage I dont know about? with provalone..$14!!!!!!! I'll say it again, $14!!! Gave it 2 stars instead of 1 only because the wedge is good bread and good amount of meat but not tasty. Meat on bread, not good sandwiches today. By the way, I think at least half the reviews are fake. One review said it was the best Italian wedge they ever had.. Ha! One of the worst Italian wedges I ever had and I had plenty. How can someone say "everything is good" Fake, Fake,...
Read moreWe’ve been buying food from here for years and recently they’ve dropped the ball hard. Every burger to leave that place is over done. You ask for rare and you leave with a hockey puck. Their salads seem like they’re left over chicken cutlets put in and it’s no longer fresh. How this place has survived tj be in business for this long now baffles me. If any deli in the are should’ve closed down because of the pandemic THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN THAT PLACE. Needless to say we will not be retuning to eat from this establishment and steer anyone who’s reading this away from this once good deli. It’s truly sad to see what this place has become. If I were the owner and knew the food that was leaving my deli I WOULD BE EMBARRASSED...
