Wingstop — Restaurant in Town of Cortlandt

These criminals accepted my payment through the app, kept the order for themselves(or gave it to their friends) , and refused to refund me the amount I paid. If you order here, there is a chance they will pocket your money, or keep the food for themselves. Actual thieves running this place. I ordered at 4:27. The app said a 75-99 minute wait. New place, I get it. I gave them extra time, arriving just shortly before 6:30. When I arrived, they first pretended not to have the order(the order was clearly on the digital board behind them). I showed them the order number. The woman behind the counter replied, “that order was picked up already, “ and continued to the next customer. I replied that I definitely didn’t pick up the order. She told me I was lying, and I said used a screen shot to deceive her. As that absolutely wasn’t the case, I opened the app again and showed her the order. At this point she demanded my phone. As I don’t give the phone to people, I declined. One of the “mangers” came over ands accused me of being “abusive.” I tried to explain the situation, but then this other, “manager” stormed in and said “”he picked it up already.” Again, I never picked up this order, and it was clearly on the board behind them. I asked if they can make my order again. He refused. I asked if I could get a refund. He also refused the refund, and called the slovenly rent -a-cop to escort me out. I had been so excited to finally be able to eat wingstop here and introduce my boyfriend to some of my fav wings. I’m from Texas and the wingstop there have never missed. However, I Ordered the game day deal online and it says pickup time 45 minutes. Now that’s completely fine and expected. When he got home I noticed half of our wings looked naked like no seasoning, no delicious crispy golden fry that I’m used to and the sauced ones had a weird slimy chewy texture that was not reminiscent of any fried chicken I’ve had. Everything was pretty cold as well which was odd because to my knowledge they didn’t give him the food right away so why would it have been sitting there getting cold. I’ve never had a wingstop experience worse that this and honestly I only gave them a 2 because of the ranch. Really was excited for this place! Love Wingstop and excited to have one close by, saw the long line and was even more excited that it was doing well! Till I realized the long one was because the chaser was ACTIVELY ignoring people, phone in had and talking to his friend who was in the front of the line. Friend walked away without even ordering and the chasier walked back and left the line to sit there. 10/28 at 6:40 pm.

UPDATE: cashier charged me for multiple items I didn't order, had to wait for the manager to refund me. Food took almost an hour and a half to come out between waiting for the line, waiting for refund and waiting after order was placed. I expected there to be a wait as the place is new, and popular, but that doesn't excuse the over charging or lack of urgency from the staff. Also an hour and a half wait for just a few wings is kind of insane. Won't be coming back...
