Golden Jade — Restaurant in Town of East Fishkill

I moved to this area and am having a hard time finding a place that makes sesame chicken. One night I give them a try and actually had the most amazing sesame chicken I have ever had. Nice fluffy tender pieces of chicken that was so tender. I thought I finally found it. I went back the next weekend to get my takeout sesame chicken. When I get home it was terrible. It was all very little stringy pieces I could not chew. I was as if it was all some scrap grisle . Oh well Bad night I thought. I went back and once again it was terrible chewy scraps. THe saying is 3 strikes and you're out. I gave them one more shot because the first time was soooo good. Once again almost all the chicken was thrown away. What they should have done with...

I’ve been coming to Golden Jade for a while now and the food is always solid. Definitely one of the better spots for takeout in the area. The Dragon and Phoenix is a standout with great flavor, perfectly cooked shrimp, and the General Tso’s chicken has the right amount of kick. Their Beef and Broccoli is also really good with tender beef, fresh broccoli, and not overly sauced like some places.

Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the food is consistently fresh and hot. It’s not really a place I’d go to for the atmosphere since it’s pretty plain inside and more of a grab and go kind of vibe. But if you’re looking for good Chinese food without the frills this place delivers.

If truly your first experience is your lasting experience then I guess I should never go here again... The service was ridiculously slow, and nothing I've ever encountered at a Chinese fast food restaurant ever in my life. It seems like everyone in the area knew about this as they all came into the restaurant with their orders pre-ordered on the phone. The food also was completely burnt and terrible for me. With how hungry I was when I ordered from here one would expect anything to taste absolutely delicious... But it was so bad that I couldn't complete my dish despite my Hunger. I may one day give this place another try in life but no time soon ... A lot has to...
