When it comes to restaurant experiences, this was not only perhaps the best I've ever experienced, it's possible that it couldn't get any more perfect. And the perfection began from not even the moment I walked THROUGH the doors, but from the moment the doors were OPENED.

We happened to follow a server who was outside into the restaurant. She held the door for us and while we were in the vestibule, and before entering the actual establishment, the woman at the counter said, "table for 2?" I said yes, and she already started escorting us to our table before we were even fully in the building. Talk about fast service.

Immediately we were given free chips and salsa and glasses of water.

Before too long a waiter came by and took our order.

As I enjoyed chips with my wife, people came by to top off our waters constantly, even if we had only taken a sip. I LOVE that. The one thing that can put a damper in my restaurant experience is being thirsty. Pretty much impossible here. They don't even let your glass get halfway empty, let alone completely empty.

As soon as we finished our basket of chips, within 3 seconds someone was there asking if we wanted more. Well the chips AND salsa were both amazing so "yes please!" Within seconds, more chips arrived.

Then we got our food. Didn't take long overall. Absolutely delicious. Generous portions, extremely tasty, and yes they continued the constant topping off of water to ensure there were no thirsty patrons. My wife also said her margarita was delicious. I don't drink. I'll take her word for it.

At the conclusion of our meal, someone was their quickly to clear our table -- not just the plates but the crumbs and bits of food left behind as well. We were then asked to view a dessert menu shortly after which we declined and the check arrived less than a minute later. I quickly put my card in the little book and of course I didn't need to wait around for them to come back and take my card. Again less than a minute passed, and they took the payment.

Fast, reliable, amazing service, delicious food, and this was on a Friday night where it seemed pretty busy. Honestly I can't see a reason why I won't come back to this place on a weekly basis. This restaurant is "weekly tradition" worthy. I'm not sure I've said that for any restaurant ever. Easiest 5 stars I can give.

If you were asking for me to nit pick something, I'd say this: I don't like beans. When I ordered my tacos I asked if I can have extra rice instead of beans. After asking that the waiter made a face that I feel he would have also made if I asked him for a foot massage. Didn't think it was such an extreme ask. Anyway, after he made the face I simply said, "no beans... don't really care how much rice I get." That seemed to satisfy him. That didn't really matter in the grand scheme of things.

Can't wait to...

I would have left no stars if google lets me but I’ll settle for one star...

First of all, service was mediocre at best. Waitress didn’t seem to care about our needs or what we wanted. Granted it was quite busy on a Friday night. When it came time to getting the bill, we wanted to split the bills two ways between friends. One payment was on card and the rest is cash. Instead of splitting the payment as requested, the entire bill was charged to the card as well as an additional balance. When the server was asked about the error, she lied and said there wasn’t enough money to cover the balance. Had she explained that she had charged the entire bill by accident. It would have been no problem. But she then went ahead and charged the rest of the available balance in the card. Embarrassing us because we keep the rest of our money in our savings account.

The manager didn’t do anything helpful about the situation. And we ended up paying the whole bill in cash and now awaiting a refund of over $200. Terrible customer service and management. Will never be back. And will be expecting a refund since they took the rest of the money in my account.

Everyone makes mistakes, that’s true but the server’s blatant disregard of her mistake and the fact that she had to be addressed and told she had made an error and then made us, the guest feel as though we didnt have enough money to cover the check is unnacceptable and instead of a sincere apology from management a nonchalant attitude. Awaiting a refund of 208.88 as check was paid in cash and will take action against this...

I wanted to take my husband elsewhere to eat for his birthday but he really wanted Mexican food. He wanted to go to our usual spot but I wanted to try something new. As I was searching Mexican restaurants Rio Bravo popped up. I read the reviews and decided that we should give it a try.

We were lucky to find street parking right across the street (2 hour limit). Once entering the restaurant, the atmosphere feels warm and cozy. Not to mention the beautiful decor. I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't crowded and we were seated immediately. The waiter brought us some chips and salsa and took our order for drinks. The salsa was in a little glass that you use to refill your dipping bowl. I loved the fact he brought two of them because I hate sharing salsa with my husband (he goes for the kill and I like to take my time - lol).

We placed our orders. We both ordered the Fajita Burrito. I had steak and he had shrimp. While waiting for our food, our waiter brought us more salsa and chips. This for me was a bonus because most restaurants you have to pay if you want extra. The food didn't take long to finish. It came already rolled with cheese on top and the guacamole and pico de gallo on the side.

Overall, the food was great and so was the customer service. It's also reasonably priced. Will return and...

Rio Brovo tacos & tequila!!! Place is good parking is difficult pro tip lot on the Main Street says paid but it’s free after 4pm Place was good didn’t have any food that blew me away or made me feel like I had to go back. The drinks on the other had was amazing there coconut margarita was spectacular. I thought they would have a bigger selection of Taqila but it was ok. Over all if you are from the neighborhood definitely a must try and definitely a place to go and have drinks won’t be disappointed. If you are in manhattan it’s ok to drive to and have a good time especially if you’re going to drink pitchers are available in almost all if not all margaritas flavors. We had 2 pitchers and 6 regular drinks. Had a great time the music is cool but only really on the side of the bar the other side you couldn’t hear the music like that. Had a great dinner enjoyed myself the staff was great we had a 30 min wait wasn’t bad for cinco de mayo. The service was top notch. Our waiter was attentive and on point the bathrooms were clean smell free. Over all a great restaurant I will definitely be back but it will be more for a drinking vibe than anything else. Thank you all for following me as always My ig is @imbroke_rob and. @imbroke_eats Hope you enjoyed this review thanks again 🙏🏾

I’ve dined here several times, usually indoors with a great Mexican-themed ambiance and excellent air conditioning (bring a sweater!). This visit, I sat outside and enjoyed a thick coconut daiquiri and red sangria—both tasty, though I prefer sangria in a wine glass with visibly more fruit in it rather served in a mason-type jar with a handle. The highlight was the Molcajete: a huge hot stone bowl loaded with a spicy, savory broth, a mix of beef, pork, chicken, and well-seasoned shrimp I added for $5. The melted cheese was a nice addition to the bold, slightly charred meats. Warm tortillas came wrapped in foil, along with smoky charro beans with bacon - very good. My husband’s salmon Veracruzan was disappointing—dry and bland with plain rice and steamed veggies, lacking the promised blackened flavor. Overall, a satisfying meal with great drinks and atmosphere, but some dishes are stronger than others.
