Madigan's — Restaurant in Town of Ellicottville

We wanted to go to Ellicottville to eat for the first time. I tried to call after 3:00 and got no answer and I also sent a FB message (which was seen) just asking if they were kid friendly as we had a 19 month old and I was ignored. Which was unfortunate.

We ended up last minute trying to find somewhere else to eat in Ellicottville. It would of just been polite to say "unfortunately we are more of an adult establishment" rather than be ignored. They cant say they were closed because we walked by and there were tons of people...

If you like bars that charge you based on your outsider status then look no further. I went to Madigans with friends on a weekend off. I had 3 canned bud lights and paid via card at the bar and was charged $25. Meanwhile my brother paid cash for the same order and was charged $9. My brother said as I walked away the bartender commented that I wasn't from here and that she'd charge double. Total joke of a bar and unprofessional staff. Be aware if you don't have...

Stopped for a quick drink and the female bartender literally saved our lives ... while staying outside of town for the night there were no ubers or cabs available for us to call and we thought we'd have to walk back 2.9 miles to our rental which surely would have been incredibly dangerous for 4 women in the snow but she went above and beyond to help us get home safe when she really didn't have to .. thank you Dawn!!
