If I could give zero stars to this location, I would. I have tried to go to this location so many times, and have given it so many chances to be good, but I get disappointed every time. I actually get so mad every time that I walk into this place. Every time that you go, there are no chips, or if there are chips, they are stale. When I picked up an online order that had chips in it, they told me when I picked up that there are no chips. I asked for a refund, and the guy at the register looked at me and said “I don’t know how to do that“. When you order a quesadilla, 90% of the time the cheese in the middle is not melted and is ice cold. The food at every other chipotle location I have ever visited always tastes the same at each location, and somehow here it tastes different, and bad. The service is awfully slow. The last time that I was in there, I watched the man handling the register pick up a dirty cardboard box off of the dirty floor, and place it on top of a cutting board that is used to cut the quesadillas in half. Afterwards, the girl taking care of making the quesadillas came over, put the box back on the floor, and then put the quesadilla right on the cutting board without sanitizing or even attempting to clean it first. That is so unsanitary and disgusting and that was my final straw with this location. I also, on that same visit, watched another girl knock a full stack of queso containers on the floor, which was littered with crumbs and dirt, and god knows what else, and pick it back up and place it back in the stack. This chipotle is disgusting. And you’ll probably get some kind of sickness by eating here, due to their unsanitary practices and horrible food safety. Zero out of five stars. I will never be going to this location again. I would rather drive an extra 15 minutes to the Poughkeepsie location rather than give this location my business and my time. So disappointed and this location is a horrible representation of the company. The company should really look at this and try to make a change here. Everyone I know hates this specific...
Read moreUsed to go here all the time after the gym, will not go here at all anymore, this place has gone downhill so badly over the past year.
They literally just do not clean anything, the counters are a complete mess, every single table always has trash everywhere, and I’m not being hyperbolic, it’s literally every single table, like not a single worker all day has cleaned off any table since opening, and if you want to sit down you need to clean off a spot.
The counter where they make the burritos is covered with cheese, lettuce, grease and pico every single time I go in, it’s disgusting, and as if they haven’t cleaned it in an hour. If you have dietary restrictions or you’re vegetarian/vegan, do not go here, because your burrito WILL have cheese and grease from different meats on it whether you ordered it or not.
The rice is always hard and undercooked, which makes me question how well they cook their meats. If you can’t cook something as simple as rice properly, it’s hard to trust that everything else is cooked to the proper temperature.
The straws, plasticware, hot sauce, napkins etc. are NEVER properly stocked, at least one of these will be completely missing every time I came in.
With that being said the food is usually ok, but it’s not hard to just follow the cooking instructions given to you by the franchise.
Just hire one single person to clean and all these problems would be solved, even if profits are still fine, I can’t help but think that as a franchise owner, paying someone $20.00 per hour is a fair price for my restaurant to not be a filthy disgusting dump all the time, but I guess the owner believes otherwise because it’s been like this for...
Read moreI’m not really one to write reviews, but coming from a former manager in the fast food industry before my career, I was astonished at how the manager was treating her employees. Your crew is the backbone of your restaurant and a reflection of you. There was a bit of a line and I waited about 10 minutes, while I was waiting the employees were doing the best they could and as fast and efficiently as possible. During said 10 minutes, I watched the manager or whoever was in charge for the day bicker and complain to her (already demotivated employees) to hurry up and disregard online orders to get the line out and then turn their back on them and just stack containers and do nothing important. As someone who understands that employees only make minimum wage and they’re already not motivated to come make $16 an hour in this economy and see their manager treat them this way and roll her eyes at them and bicker and complain instead of lead by example honestly kinda made me feel bad for them. The employees made me a great burrito with no help from their manager or whatever it is that was running the show that day. If you want better reviews and better employees, suffer with them and acknowledge that they are making the bare minimum in 2023 and understand that complaining and bossing them around will only create a wall between your employees and management ultimately leading to a very bad work environment. I give the team members a 10/10, as for the manager, cut out the micromanaging and actually manager and be a leader, you’ll have a better...
