Hudson Valley Towne Center — Local services in Town of Fishkill

The Towne Center has come a long way since I first moved to Fishkill about 12 years ago give or take a year, it's a good thing because Fishkill, N.Y also changes and grows and at the same time it becomes more diverse and that's a great thing, I'm only sorry to find out that Charlie Brown Statehouse is no longer in the neighborhood we had many a diner's there but a new dinner just opened so I'm looking forward to seeing the place, so come and enjoy what Fishkill,N.Y...

Basically this is another small shopping mall that is / has gone under...

The only reason to go is that they have a movie theater here, and a few chain/themed restaurants. There is a Chinese Buffet here, and that is OK.

They had Bass clothing, and Land's end there, but theses stores are pulling out...

One point of interest is that New York State has a Lottery office here, as there have been a lot of payouts in the Hudson Valley.

Don't waste...

There is so much useless construction on Route 9 so you wonder why they can't rent out more stores here. It's a lifestyle mall, outdoors. Lots of potential for either shops or outlet stores. Most are vacant. Even the movie theater is usually not crowded. It would be nice if the town's of Fishkill and Wappingers would encourage businesses to open in the town center instead of building more difficult to enter and exit...
