Loved coming here until yesterday. My family and I usually come here when we travel from Westchester after doing some shopping. I recently had the unfortunate experience of dining here that left a sour taste in my mouth, both literally and figuratively. The burgers I ordered were nothing short of a disappointment, as they were incredibly unseasoned and lacked any flavor whatsoever. It was as if the chef had forgotten to add any spices or seasoning to the meat, resulting in a bland and tasteless patty.
To make matters worse, when I brought this issue to the attention of the server, I was told they don’t season their burgers. My family and I didn’t want to cause a scene and speak with the manager so we paid the bill which was over $100. My mom felt sick later on so we decided to call the next day to voice our concern to see if the burgers could be refunded. We spoke with Nick who claimed to be the manager and one of the co-owners. I was met with an unpleasant and unhelpful attitude. Instead of acknowledging the problem and offering a solution, the manager seemed unwilling to listen to my concerns. It was clear that they had no intention of making things right or compensating for the subpar meal. Instead they wanted to send a $40 gift card in the mail which would only cover two of the three burgers we ordered. I politely declined the gift card and asked for a refund and was told he could only offer a gift card as a solution.
As a paying customer, I believe it is only fair to expect a certain level of quality and taste in the food I am served. However, this restaurant failed to meet even the most basic standards. The unseasoned burgers were a complete letdown, and the lack of willingness from the manager to address the issue only added insult to injury.
Overall, I would strongly advise against dining at this establishment if you value flavorful and well-seasoned food, as well as competent and customer-oriented management. Save yourself the disappointment and frustration by seeking out a different restaurant that actually cares about the satisfaction of...
Read moreServer was great, timely, and kind throughout the late night dine in meal. The guy who we can only assume was the manager because of his attire who seated us brought us to a table with only 1 set of silverware that was still dirty and only had one place setting. We walked past and sat across from multiple perfectly good and clean tables to be sat a one which wasn’t clean or ready which made no sense. He also wiped crumbs off the side of the table that was missing a set of silverware and then never even mentioned that we were missing them and never returned to bring us any. Our server was good, but he also never got us a second set of silverware until after we had already received our food. The cheese on the French onion soup was burnt on the top and barely melted on the bottom making it not only taste bad but impossible to melt into the soup. Some bits of the bread were also very hard/crunchy and tasted slightly off while others were absolutely disintegrating so I’m not sure what happened there. My partner wanted to order some items a la carte and the kitchen messed up the order slightly and our server never actually checked with us that the order was messed up before delivering it to us. My food also had multiple small hairs throughout it and the home fries were extremely mushy. This place looks great and the vibes are pretty awesome, we just wish the food and service were there to match the great looking restaurant. They are advertising out front that they are hiring currently so we can only unfortunately assume that they are understaffed which makes late night meals after long days a bit tedious. Your mileage may vary, but we didn’t have a great time here on our way back home from a vacation. I’d likely not recommend this place when the staff is at the end of their shifts as they appear tired and are lacking...
Read moreA trip to the Red Line Diner in Fishkill, NY, promises a classic diner experience with a modern twist, as evidenced by the sleek, retro-futuristic exterior and stylish interior. The decor features shiny chrome, red accents, and classic booth seating, creating a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. On a recent visit, we had the pleasure of sampling a few of their breakfast offerings. The eggs Benedict was a highlight, with perfectly poached eggs and a generous amount of rich, creamy hollandaise sauce blanketing the dish. The home fries, served with the eggs Benedict and the other breakfast plate, were a standout—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and seasoned just right. Another order included two eggs cooked over hard, which were prepared exactly as requested, along with some flavorful, juicy linked sausage and a side of the delicious hash browns. The French toast house-made brioche bread was also a winner, perfectly golden and fluffy. Overall, the Red Line Diner delivers on its promise of a satisfying diner meal in a fun and stylish setting. The food is well-prepared, the portions are generous, and the ambiance is a perfect blend of nostalgic and contemporary. Service was attentive without being intrusive. Orders arrived hot and exactly as requested Our coffee cups were never allowed to run dry. Every server seemed to keep an eye on our cups, refilling them as needed with...
