Ruggiero's Pizza — Restaurant in Town of Glenville

Food good, service ok. Overpriced and likes to nickle and dime you for everything. Buy a large salad but cannot get a slice of bread...$2.50 for 2 slices of bread when a loaf of it cost $3.50?! I spent over $50 Then I cannot get a slice of bread? Bought the fish but have to pay for the tarter sauce? Eat fish plain? So the register just keep plugging away. Adding up this and that...absolutely ridiculous! And the owners will just come out and yell at you to leave!! He doesn't need your business!! He's been doing it for decades. And then they forgot about my 3 slices of pizza. Burnt them. Still wanted me to pay for them. They forgot to ring me out for them...unbelievable right?! You couldn't eat them, they were black! They then said they would put some more in but they didn't have the same toppings and I would not only have to wait longer but still pay!! They make a mistake, screw up, but I gotta pay. Those slices were someone's meal. That meant that person had nothing to eat. They threw the burnt slices in finally and I left. I never said a word and the person whom the slices were for had to throw them out and eat something else. Trust me there was no way to eat the slice because I even tried. YUCK! Why would you treat customers that way...I know, cuz...

Always liked the pizza here but this business has gone down hill. Rudest help & bad attitudes I have seen in retail. My four item order today was beyond awful. A steak parm sub that was sausage - an eggplant pannini that was dry eggplant slapped on Italian bread - not a pannini - no toppings or cheese or grilled as stated...BLT chicken salad - bacon was barely cooked - a random salad that was never ordered - only one piece was correct for a $50 order. When I called the order in, the girl was so rude. I ordered a dinner roll and she nastily told me they don't have dinner rolls (it's right on the menu). I asked her to repeat the entire order back to me but she said she was too busy and didn't have time. When we picked up the order, we witnessed them treating two others ahead of us so badly as well. We are so disgusted with this place. If you want great food go further down the road and give your business to Marcellas where they are happy to have your business and appreciate...

We've ordered food here so many times over the years but I think we are finally giving up on them.

Sometimes the food is great...other times we have gotten terrible pizzas (hardly any sauce, burnt crust, etc.) There seems to be no rhyme or reason to it (time of day, day of the week).

Today, we had guests over and decided to order pizzas and sandwiches for takeout. One of the hot sandwiches we received was so burnt, none of us could believe someone actually wrapped it up thinking it was okay to serve. We were so embarrassed since we chose the place and our guest had to make do with something else because their meal was so unappealing.

We have commented to staff casually about issues in the past, not looking for refunds but hoping they might get a handle on things again eventually (everyone has bad days). Unfortunately it seems the comments have fallen on deaf ears and nothing is going to change. We will get food elsewhere in the future - It costs too much to keep rolling...
