We were driving back to Connecticut from the finger lakes and I found this place just noodling around on Google maps trying to find late afternoon coffee to make the last 2 hour stretch. I got what I wanted and SO much more. This place is tiny but the woman behind the counter was so nice, warm, inviting. It was the last hour of business on a very warm day, but I saw cookies in the glass case and couldn't help myself. I'm glad I did they were amazing. Traveled all the way from Long Island for a day trip to take home some famous chimney cakes! Nowhere on the island makes them and Diplomat never lets us down! We were greeted with a smile and fast service. We also tried a coffee flight and cannot wait to come back. We love shopping small and to us, supporting this local coffee shop goes beyond the mere convenience of stopping by a Dunkin or Starbucks.
