Super delish home-made ice cream and, unlike just about every other place--- their ice cream is not super sweet !! They have soft serve and the hard ("original") serves !!! - nicely automated cc service (and they accept cash too-LOL).

Amazing flavors with every type of sprinkles and 2 types of coconut shavings!! -delish DELISH and even their basic vanilla --- can't say it too often----SUPER delish !

Amazing guys but they close at the end of October and don't open again until the Spring -UGGHHH!!!

Great and relaxing outdoor seating - really pretty and I don't think you'll find anyone posting anything about this place but that it is, and has always been amazing!!

Super quick service with super friendly and energetic wait staff.

Best home made ice cream ever - from 3 sizes of cups or cones and we love sampling ice creams from many creameries from Pennsylvania to upper NY State- amazing guys !!!

Try it guys and make it a point to bring the kiddies and sit in their relaxing and wonderful garden-like outdoor seating near the long...

Trailside Treats Creamery is right where you need it to be! Located along the entrance and parking for Heritage Trail in Goshen, NY, this is conveniently found within walking distance of downtown Goshen village and the trailhead.

Ice cream offerings are plentiful and the service is friendly at Trailside. There is comfortable seating available and additional shade provided by pop-up canopies and tents for patrons. There is good shade from the surrounding trees, as well.

While there is good open space, this place does get crowded so don't be discouraged if the lines seem long... Don't worry: the staff moves quickly enough to get to you. Digital menu boards are prominently displayed and the stand accepts credit cards and digital payments. In addition to the ice cream offerings, they also have a variety of gelato if that tickles your fancy.

Pups and dogs are also provided hospitality as there is a communal bowl with fresh water near the...

There are tons of ice cream shops in the area, but there are a few things that set Trailside apart:

Homemade flavors - they really know what they are doing. To me, you can get soft serve anywhere, but if you want real homemade ice cream flavors, trailside is the best. Cherry vanilla and Cappuccino fudge crunch are the best I’ve had so far.

Gluten free options - I was amazed when I asked for a gluten free ice cream cone and they had two options. Then they blew my mind with the homemade gluten free chip which.

Customer service - everyone is super friendly and there is a rewards program. It’s linked to my card so I know I get my rewards every time (it tells you how many in the screen after you pay and you get a text).

It’s often busy and you can pay less for inferior ice cream at a grocery store, but Trailside is worth being on your radar for quality, gluten free inclusiveness, and...

This place has the perfect spot! It’s at the corner of the trail parking lot so it gets a lot of foot and bike traffic. I don’t know if parents can pass by without stopping there. We stopped here after our bike ride. We both got the vanilla soft served ice cream in a waffle cone. I was impressed by their cone holder. They spent a little extra so I don’t get as messy. I appreciate that. It was also great that they took credit cards. Most ice cream corner spots like these only take cash. We can’t wait for the trails to open after Covid-19 so we can finish our bike ride with ice cream!

My family just stayed at the Legoland Hotel for a short vacation and had a fantastic time. While we were there we ventured off campus to get some ice cream and found this incredible local place. Trying not to exagerate here - but while my fam got some really good ice cream which they loved, I got some cherry italian ice and I think it was the best thing I've ever tasted of any food in my life. We loved this place so much we went back the next night at which point I got a pint of the cherry italian ice and crushed it no problem. SO GOOD!
