Five Guys — Restaurant in Town of Grand Chute

This is my 2nd time visiting this location while traveling for work. My 1st experience was great service ,good food. This time however on 5/22/24 @ 6:28 pm I had a horrible experienced with an employee by the name Michael V per receipt. I placed my order along with a milkshake. When I received my milkshake which was done before I could even sit down from placing my order it was a cup of milk. I asked why was it so watery. Michael comes over already being aggressive what is the problem this is how our shakes are!! I explained to him that this was my second time at this location and my milkshake wasn't like a glass of milk. I requested a fountain drink in place of the milkshake which is cheaper but at this point I'm not even asking for a refund. He continues to yell while other customers are in the restaurant as well. I'm going to refund you your meal I then ask for clarification are you refusing to serve me my meal because I ask for a fountain drink instead. He continues to be irrational and continues on to tell me yeah I remember you. You have done this before so now he is trying to make his customers think it's me instead of taking ownership and apologizing and replacing my shake with a fountain drink. I explained to the worker again how my 1 st time there the milkshake was an actual milkshake not a cup of milk! So that was a lie! I'm telling him at this point we don't need to have anymore words because I will be writing a review, calling cooperate as well as sending an email because this behavior is unacceptable! Michael and all of the other workers should have hair nets and gloves on while preparing food. Also turn the AC on so that Michael does not have sweat dripping onto customers food! I look forward to the Five Guys cooperate office responding in a timely manner with a solution...

My son and I were car and window shopping and we stopped at 5 guys for dinner, my son had never been to one before. The customer service here was warm, friendly and welcoming. The employees were all working good together, the atmosphere was peaceful and calm. The food was amazing, and we were given everything on our order, everything was served hot and fresh and very flavorful. The hamburgers were juicy, they weren't over seasoned or greasy and they didn't shrink up at all. The buns were soft and moist, all the condiments were crisp, and fresh. full and the pop dispenser was working fine. The pop was crisp and carbonated, not syrupy. The self serve condiments, straws and napkins were fully stocked. Of course the peanuts were ready available for self serving. The amount of food we got was more than enough and we ended up taking some home with us. The French fries we were given was more then enough for us to share and bring some home. Surprisingly, The prices are not sky rocketing and were very affordable and the food is well worth every cent. The establishment was extremely clean. All counter tops, tables and chairs were clean, all lights were lit up, the glass doors, windows and separators were clean and without smudges or finger prints. Even the ladies rest room was exceptionally clean. There is outside seating available, we ate our dinner at an outside table. The weather was nice enough we could sit outside and eat, chat a little and relax. There is no better place to stop to eat when you're wanting a hot dog, hamburger and French Fries. Visited this location on October 24th. Placed my takeout order for for a bacon cheeseburger, fries, and a drink. Got back home, opened my burger, and discovered that there were no burger patties on the burger. Called the restaurant and they offered to remake the burger or give me a refund. I opted for the refund. I got to the store and was only offered a refund for the burger, but not the fries getting cold or the drink with melting ice that were ruined at this point. I demanded a full refund but was refused. Terrible customer service. I believe that one of the cooks purposely did this to my order. The girl helping me claimed that nobody would purposely mess with my food and that mistakes happen during a "rush" (there were two other customers in the restaurant at the time). Terrible experience.
