I wanted to buy myself a bracelet. After finding the one I wanted, I asked the clerk to take it out of the glass display. I said "I want to see the bracelet behind the sign '$99.99". She removed the bracelet and the $99.99 sign. She began to ring it up and when she was almost finished she said "this is not the right price". She said it was $50 more than the sign indicated! I feel it is unfair to jack up the price of something if it is indicated to be that price. It is also false advertising. Also, the clerk outright lied to the manager about where the $99.99 sigh was placed. Of course he backed her up. I think both employees need to go back to "how to treat a customer" class.

Went appliance shopping and the sale had some great pricing. But even with that there were too many options we didn't want or need. But more importantly the salesman was awful. Did nothing to try and help sell us or help us really. They did wipe off the finger prints for us and then walked away. We went elsewhere and paid a little more but I still feel like we got a better deal and had a better experience.

The fiting rooms were closed the second time I wanted to try something on. So I got stuck buying 3 dresses to make sure one fit for mothers funeral tomorrow. Also signs everywhere said 60-80% off dress was $74. Went down to $56. Not even close. Nothing good for shoe to go with dresses and shoes were $60-$80 with no sale. Whole store was trashed.

TL;DR: Cashier gives two customers bad customer service by creating two lines for herself and insisting we get their credit card instead of just focusing on one customer at a time and offering good customer service.

When I went to check out at the west check out there was no one there. After wandering towards the northern mall entrance someone without a name tag asked if we were checking out, we said yes. When we got to the western check out again, there was another customer already there. That's fine, she got there first. We got in line behind her. The cashier then instructed us to get into the other side's till.

"How are you doing today? Will you be using the jcp card to save additional today?" "No card today" She then proceeds to scan the other person's things. There's some sort of issue with her gift certificate and the cashier insists she get a credit card to save the additional $13. Other customer says no. She then turns back to us and starts to pretend to scan our items. After scanning, she turns back to the other customer and insists again to get a card. The other customer looks defeated and says she's already tired of all the ads and emails she gets already. We spend an additional 5 minutes waiting for her to finish cashing out the other customer. The cashier then turns to us. LOGS INTO the other computer and starts scanning out things again. Asks again if we are going to use the card. No. I visibly has my debit card out and ready to go since we've been waiting for 5 minutes. "Are you sure, it'll save you an additional $35" "No." Another customer gets behind us at this point and the cashier again tells them to get into the other side. Asks us again if we want to get a card to save money "NOOOOO." Finally allows me to insert my card and pay. Starts bagging our order, but instead of completing it by herself, she wants me to hold the bag for her so she can bag the items.

Idk how you guys train your cashier but this whole process was unnecessarily complicated, drawn out, and I don't appreciate the hard, insistent push to get your...

Went to the store at my girlfriends parents were visiting from California. Our cashier started by processing my girlfriend and mom items, but was giving us Attitude and being rude. I was next in line and she continued to be rude and one of my items didn't have a price tag on it. She ordered me to go and get one with a tag. I looked at her with a surprised face and then she gave me a serious look and told me rudely to go get another one with a tag. Be pissed at this point I grab the item and said I would do her job for her. As I was getting the new item I found the manager and told him what happened. On my way back to the counter the manager was talking with the employee and then she started getting all apologetic. The manager started making jokes about slapping he employee up later and that she would never do what she did. Most unprofessional management and employees. Real manager should have took over the transaction and discipline the employee away from customers and make jokes in front of them. They have me a whopping 10% off, but doesn't fix there unprofessionalism. As a manager myself, the Manager and employee need training on real customer service and treatment of customers. I would have gladly got a new item if they would have just asked and told me they were understaffed, which would have been understood. Being rude and demanding to customers is...

You would think that when you go to a retail store that there would be people at the registers to ring you up. Well I walked around with my child mind you, to five different registers and i found not a single employee. I just wanted to buy some clothes for my 3 year old and simply couldn't. I was on the verge of giving up and was about to just leave and take my dollars elsewhere. Then i spot an employee at the register by the mall entrance. I walk up with my articles and place them on the counter and realize the cashier is on the phone. She puts the customer on hold. I assumed that was so she could handle my transaction. NOPE. Just puts the phone down and walks away. Not a word. Needless to say it looks like this store is suffering and I can see why. Why would anyone spend money at a place that treats their patrons this way....
