809 Take Out — Restaurant in Town of Greece

I went here b/c my husband discovered this place online. At first , everything seemed good, food looked good and the lady taking up the food was pleasant to rhe customers she was serving at the time

Then it was my turn, I placed my order (2 stew chicken, fish and fried pork, and 1 empanada.) I confirmed the pruce of the foos from the Menu and price board posted up behibd the food. As my food was being dished up I told the lady what I wanted(that piece of chicken, more gravy etc. ) The server immediately became annoyed and began making rude gestures and comments like OMG.

I was displeased at this, O am patronizing your business and this is the service you give. No I don't speak Spanish, I watched the service she gave to the previous Spanish speaking customers......it was pleasant and professional My money is just as green as the next person. She then charged me the wrong price for one of my entrée. I made her aware of it and showed her the price on rge board. She totally disregarded what I sais and told me " no it's the price I charge you. " I was done, I could have walked out right then and leave ger standing with the food.

However, I wanted to support a small business(I enjoyall kinds of foods from various cultures)........NEVER AGAIN. Furthermore, the young lady help her was wearing no gloves and she was coughing. I WILL NOT be back here. The service is mediocre if you are not HISPANIC. Not my kind of restaurant. I pay for service, not food. You give me great service and not good food I will certainly cone back. You give me alright or bad food and BAD SERVICE........I...

Caution food may taste like cigarettes…Good atmosphere, however poor poor service, waitresses barley checked in on us throughout the night, we ordered some of the most expensive items on the menu (seafood paella @$60 and the seafood pasta @$50) and for the price both were quite mid….seafood pasta you had to peel off the shrimp tails and get covered in pasta sauce to enjoy, pure laziness on the kitchens end….our party got 2 seafood paella bowls….portions were very generous but the taste not so much….one bowl tasted good however the 2nd tasted like it was used as someone’s ash cup, waitresses showed absolutely no sympathy when expressed one of these things is not like the other…..seems very much the high prices come from being able to pay rent (in a fancy area) and not from providing...

Tried the roasted chicken 🍗 with yellow rice 🌾 didn’t have high expectations but once I picked up the chicken 🍗 and felt the texture and flavor I kinda fell in love with the food here today was my first time trying it and if I had someone special I would definitely recommend this place rice 9/10 could use a pinch of spice but the chicken is 10/10 and over all the meal was a 9.9/10 and I highly recommended my fellow Rochester people to try this place honestly . That had Cold PINEAPPLE 🍍 GOYA SO U KNOW IT WAS DELICIOUS. But I sad when they said they sold outa ribs but I’ll be back for those don’t worry 😂💪🏾 love this new food spot...
