I’m from out of town and I came to pinos because I heard the food was good. When I walked in with my family I took a number and waited until I was called. One lady called my number and another number. I went up and she looked at me with a disgruntled look and told me “he’s serving you” like I was supposed to know. My sibling didn’t understand the process either and the lady taking her order got an attitude and proceeded to whisper to another lady on the line. You don’t do that in the face of confused customers who don’t understand how this process works. Then I walk up to the register to pay for my meal and no one told me wait, they just walked off and started whispering again. As someone who has worked in the food industry, front and back of house; I don’t understand what was difficult about letting us know about a wait time. I don’t even feel comfortable eating here.
I did speak with the manager Patrina and she was EXTREMELY kind and fixed the situation perfectly. I do appreciate her so much and if I happen to be in town again I may stop by. Thank you Patrina for your stellar hospitality I do...
Read moreI’m usually one of those people that don’t write reviews even if the service is horrible… but today I felt obligated too. Although the subs are great, the customer service needs help. Today I walked in and unknowingly walked by the “ ticket stand” bc I already ordered my food. Most delis I go too, the tickets are for people placing new orders. Besides that, I didn’t feel welcomed when I walked in ( 2 years ago I did, but today I didn’t), I’m not sure who the lady was in the front bc none of them wear name tags. But the way she carried herself and her customer service was horrible. When I first got to the window they all stared at me, not saying a word! and then she said “ are you number 62” I mentioned to her that I didn’t notice what the sign said, and when I was here before you just walk up to the register and pay when you’ve already ordered… She said “ well you need to get a ticket”….. again I mentioned I didn’t know that… but either way there is ways you talk to people. I work in healthcare and would never talk to any of my patients like that. The food is great but the customer service...
Read moreLast week when I visited Pinos Deli and Subs for a "delicious" meal, I had a horrifying experience. Before even entering the establishment, I noticed the parking lot was practically empty, unusual for a deli that has a 4.9 star rating. After parking and going inside, I decided to order the "Munchie Basket". I decided to go sit down and wait for my food and noticed that the chairs were actually just lawn chairs with a plastic table. Very unprofessional. After waiting 45 minutes for the "Munchie Basket", I finally received my order. Not only did it take forever to get, but it was absolutely disgusting. The mozzarella sticks smelled so vulgar that I nearly vomited. I asked to speak to the manager, and the employee refused to get the manager for me. She then spit in my face and told me to get out of the store. I gladly left after receiving such sub par treatment. I will never step foot near this place EVER again. I've later discovered (from other friends) that this place has RATS. I hope a health inspector will close...
