I ordered pizza and wings on 19 July 2025. They told me it was gonna be 45 minutes after waiting on hold for over 10 minutes speaking with a guy that can’t speak. English kept on putting me on hold all I was asking for was an ETA on the delivery. He could not give me an ETA. I asked to speak for a manager. The manager was nowhere to be found. I said did the pizza leave the pizzeria? He couldn’t answer that question either. This is the second chance that I gave them and it happened at my grandson’s house and I had to feed him. The first time was in the winter time again it was a long time before the driver showed up. The driver showed up parked on The road and proceeded to get the pizza out of the passenger side of the car and dropped it in the snowbank. These people should not own a pizzeria because they do not have any kind of customer service or even how to run a business I can’t believe that soccer Sam would sell these people a franchise. Corporate will get a call on Monday. The pizza and wings still haven’t gotten delivered. I drove to the pizzeria and demanded I get a refund. When I got to the pizzeria, four people were waiting for their stuff and they told them maximum amount of time About their time also it’s taking longer than what it does. They’re telling me they’re busy, but they’re not putting out any food.
I read your response. My issue is they could not give me an ETA when the Pizza and Wings were going to be delivered. Or even if the were with the driver. (Left the building to be delivered) The person that answered the phone said I don't understand English. I ask to speak to a manager, He responded there is no manager here, then he put me on hold for over 15 mins. I am a business owner myself, I would never treat a customer that way. Read moreCalled 3 times trying to place my order each time I was placed on hold for 5 minutes before the line disconnected. I decided that I really wanted it so I decided to place my order in person. While placing my order the counter girl was rude and insolent (I wanted to use a coupon for a large one topping and order of wings and a Pepsi but I didn't want any toppings) she damn near refused to honor the coupon or the modification that actually saves her business money. Then as I was leaving the parking lot to go check out Redbox I was almost hit by their delivery driver, when I went inside to complain (this was around 8:40pm and they close at 11pm) I was told that they didn't have a manager on the clock. How do you run a business without a manager or a shift leader?!?! When I insisted they call the manager they put the idiot driver on before me, the PAYING customer! the manager tells me that he will be there in 15 minutes he arrives (stinking of cheap cologne) and proceeded to give me an attitude about complaining I insisted that he comp my food and he outright refuses saying that it's against policy he does offer me 50% back which I took. Then when I got home I find my wings are overcooked and maybe 2 wings actually got sauced and on top of that theu cut the pizza into tiny wedges and didn't even bother cutting all the way thorough. I wish the pizza here wasn't so delicious. We can't justify ordering pizza anywhere else, as there are no other Rochester pizzerias that come close in terms of flavor.
However, everything else about the Salvatores in Greece is shockingly awful.
The service is consistently worse here than any retail business I've ever experienced. Every time I've called or walked in during the past 5 years, the staff are rude, ignore customers, get orders wrong, and/or are completely missing from the front desk.
The food is overpriced, the portions are small, and the toppings are sparse. I routinely order double quantities of toppings and still get less than you'd get at other pizza chains.
The wait time is ridiculous. Consistently 40+ minutes if you walk in, and 60+ minutes for delivery (occasionally as long as 90 minutes).
I've been ordering pizza for almost 40 years, and I worked for two pizza chains in my youth. I can't even imagine what could cause such a horrendous delay in making a dumb pizza.
I dream of the day I find another local pizzeria that makes a moderately tasty pie, so I never again have to deal with this horrorshow of a "business".
