Sogo Sushi & Hibachi — Restaurant in Town of Greece

If I could give this place no star, I would. My family arrived at the establishment waited almost 2 hours for our food to come. Watched several tables arrive 30 to 45 minutes after us And be served promptly. Finally, after about an hour and 45 minutes. When My wife and I finally said something to our server. She then proceeded to Ask us if “we were going to have a problem”. From then on, she did not come back to her table, in fact, she passed us off to another waitress. When our waitress comes back, she hands us our $120 bill with no offer to take our drinks off or any sort of compensation after we waited for 2 hours to be served. When we asked for a manger our server stated she would “get him for us”.We waited 15 minutes before walking to the front. At which point we were told the manager was never told we needed to speak to him. It’s 9:15 at this point and we had been there with 2 kids since 6:30. When we told them we were at the point of leaving the only white server threatened to call the cops on us a mixed race couple and blended family. After this several other waitresses came over and started getting involved and basically ganging up on myself and my family. This place makes people of color feel unwelcome. And they are very unsanitary as well. We witnessed them touch raw meat to clean plates and then serve on them. We were not only unsatisfied but appalled by our treatment. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst...

We frequent this place, but after the last visit we won’t be back. We were seated at a table with a person that made special requests and weren’t told that was happening. We made due since we had made the reservation and we’re seated. We told them it was our young daughter’s birthday dinner multiple times. The other people at the table requested a specific chef. We complied and had no problems with that, but this chef did not do anything special as other ones do. We waited a long time for dinner and the server made multiple mistakes on the drink orders as well as forgetting to give my young daughter her soup. When the chef quickly made the meal serving extra to the other quests that requested him it was not worth the wait. The other guests left stating they don’t eat there, they bring it home. When we finished our meal they server brought a dessert for my daughter and slid it in front of her not leaving. Spoon or fork for her to eat with. She’s a child and we left with her teary eyed that the table next to us sang happy birthday to the person there and she didn’t even get a fork. We had a party of 7 and when the bill came we paid it, and realized the totals weren’t even correct. We normally leave an additional tip even though the gratuity is part of the bill, but this time we lids not. It was a terrible experience and I will not recommend this...

This is regarding our most recent visit only. The only reason I gave any stars was because our chef was so nice. We were told 15 minutes for the wait, then it was over an hour. We were seated alone at a hibachi table, then seemingly forgotten about for 15 or 20 min. When the waitress finally took our order, she didn't write anything down and half of my order wasn't called in (I didn't order hibachi, my fiancé did.) When the chef came over he said the waitress asked him to let me know they were out of tofu so she had to cancel it, but she never came back to ask me what I wanted instead. I only ordered tofu, a small salad and a cup of soup, so the tofu was my main dish. The chef went to the kitchen to add an avocado starter for me. Of my original order I only got my soup. The salad was never called in. After my fiancé finished his hibachi we waited another 20 min to see if the waitress or anyone would bring us the check or a box for his leftovers. We flagged another chef for the box, then went to the front desk for our check. We realized too late (after tipping 10 dollars) that they had automatically added 18% gratuity, so we tipped over 40% for basically no service at all. We're just hoping our chef ended up...
