Taco Bell — Restaurant in Town of Greece

Taco Bell is an experience universally shared by many people. Aside from McDonald’s, Burger King, and Wendy’s, it’s among the most popular of fast food choices. Taco Bell will often be suggested when having a large group of people, as its versatile menu accomodates for people of all kinds unlike some of the previous restaurants mentioned. The food itself is craveable and my favorite of theirs is a chicken chalupa with some chipotle sauce on it. Despite Taco Bell being wonderful and very tasty, I cannot give it a full five stars. At times, the experience is different between different locations. Most times at this location, any modifications I have to make are never worried about because the workers do an excellent job of ensuring the whole order is correct. Often when I envision the workplace environment inside, I can see images of a perfectly-coordinated assembly line. While I understand that mistakes are perfectly human, I also believe that those with special requirements due to allergies or intolerance should be extra dilligent to ensure the customer is taken care of. With that said. I ordered a Quesarito from their online menu and of course, as one with lactose intolerance does, I ordered it without cheese. Unfortunately, upon arriving, it came with cheese anyway. Too lazy and hungry to order another, I decided to instead just face whatever consequences might come with eating the cheese anyway. But this was no ordinary cheese. Not at all. When I say this cheese must have been mixed with fire from the devil himself, believe me. It only took an hour for my body to discover the cheese and whatever unholy amalgamation was inside it, which made me make a mad dash to the bathroom. Pure liquid feces spewed from my bottom like an actual faucet. But unfortunately for me, I had stopped just short of being able to pull down my pants. Now I had liquid poo running down my legs, staining my pants and soaking into my socks. The smell was absolutely foul and I couldn’t even stop myself to clean it up. I had to get myself onto the toilet despite my stomach crying out like spirits of the damned leaving me hurling in pain. The experience left me feeling as though the molten lava of Asphodel had shot through me like a canoball, and cleaning it up left me sick for the rest of the night.

Normally I don’t have an issue with this location, but just the other day I came here with a friend during my lunch break. The drive-thru line wasn’t too long. When we got up to the little box to order, the screen was off, and nobody greeted us. We sat there for a total of 7 minutes at the box waiting, periodically saying “hello?” with absolutely no response. By this point any cars that were in front of us were now long gone, and theres a large line forming behind us. I figured the box must have been broken, so I pulled forward to the window. When I got up there, I tried to explain to the woman what happened, and asked if I could order at the window. She said “yes, i know, i told you to hold on” and i said “oh im sorry, we didnt hear anything while waiting for 7 minutes, we figured it was broken. We kept saying hello” and the girl said “yes i know, you should learn to be more patient. What do you want?” So i apologized and started to order, and the girl called over a different girl, said “i cant deal with this right now, you do it.” And explained to the other girl that we “didnt feel like waiting and just pulled up”. The other girl then opened the window, saying “next time, you’re gonna order at that little box like everyone else does, cuz we cant take orders up here”. I again apologized and told them i thought it must have been broken. The girl rolled her eyes, closed the window, and yelled to the other people “that last order is put to the front cuz these girls thought it was ok to just pull up to the window!”. The entire time we were sitting there waiting for our food, we could hear them yelling and complaining about us. It was extremely rude and unprofessional. Made us feel really uncomfortable. I actively avoid this Taco Bell and usually go to the one further down Ridge Rd. I’ve never experienced fast service here nor friendly service.

Today 04/21/24 I accidentally placed an order for this location instead of the other. When I got there, my order tracker said that my order was ready, but there wasn’t anything on the mobile order rack. The girl at the counter ignored me and went to the back, leaving the counter empty.

Someone finally came over annoyed and asked me if I had a mobile order and then asked my name 3 different times before finding it.

While I was waiting, I could see into the back of the kitchen and was shocked to see the floor littered with lettuce, tomato and cheese. Even further back was a full burrito just being ignored on the floor. Seeing this made me feel incredibly uncomfortable about how my food might be handled.
