🚢Sharing some activities at the ship. So many things to do onboard. Evolution Lounge is a cool place for music and drinks 🍹 The kiddos loved the mocktails. Hubby and I went to Palo Restaurant. This Italian restaurant is adults only and delicious. Boys needs to wear jeans or pants and closed toe shoes and polo shirt or collared shirt. The ship has 3 rotational restaurants for dinner: . The Animator’s Palate was the kiddos fave. It was like being Under the Sea with Finding Nemo’s characters. . Royal Palace is an elegant restaurant inspired by by the classic Disney films Cinderella, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Beauty and the Beast and Sleeping Beauty. . Enchanted Garden is a whimsical, casual restaurant inspired by the gardens of Versailles. We also did a karaoke family night which it was amazing! . Thank you @disneycruiseline and @disneyparks for giving us this experience to share❤️ . #hosted #disneycruiseline #disneycreators #disneycruise #disney

Updated: Coming to the Royal Palace feels like home. The passion and love of food is evident in the chef's expertise. On our recent visit, we finally tried Dosa. The crisp crepe shell was stuffed with a delicious mixture. On the side, there are two types of sauces to try- one spicy while the other has a refreshing cilantro taste. Ultimately, the Royal Palace will stand as my favorite place to go for Indian cuisine. There's no replacing great food and great company. The hunt for a great Indian Restaurant with a buffet selection continues. Until we come across The Royal Palace. From the outside, one would never know that the nearby strip has such a hidden gem! Upon entry, The Royal Palace is more than welcoming- the Restaurant has a homely quality. The music playing is traditional and is kept at a comfortable volume. From staff to fellow guest, one can expect great hospitality. Especially when one enjoys learning more about Indian cuisine! The lunch buffet is 20 dollars per person and seeing the selection of homestyle cooking, the price is more than agreeable. Once one sees the neat display of delicious food, there is only the sense of longing to try a bit of everything. We chatted with a  fellow guest who has been coming to the Royal Palace for ten years! She would talk about the various curries and even showed us a tray that is more traditionally used than an open plate. A chef had brought his own specialty from India to the table- a small round hollow pastry meant to be filled with a variety of spreads and spicy water. Ultimately, a small pocket of flavor to explode in your mouth! Now, let's not forget desert! Of course Jamoon is a favorite. Yet, the mango pudding is so fresh and well executed that provides a light finish. Overall, The Royal Palace is going on the list of favorite places to eat. The staff is very welcoming. The guests are considerate and have a shared love of authentic Indian cuisine. Ultimately, I highly recommend coming here!

I must tell at the outset that I feel really bad for writing this review but please note that it's written with good intent so the quality of food and service is improved. Hopefully my review is taken with positive attitude. Food: Hands down, this was the worst Indian food I have ever eaten anywhere in the entire world. I placed an order for Aaloo chat , mutton kadhai, garlic naan and tea. The only good item from the things that I ordered was the Aaloo chaat and all other items were just horrible mistakes. I specifically requested when placing the order to make meat well cooked, I double checked and asked the guy taking the order to repeat my request for well cooked meat after he took my order. Finally when the mutton kadhai arrived, the meat was just raw meat put into a pre-made sauce. I forced myself to eat a couple of pieces after which I requested them to get the meat well cooked. They went back to the kitchen and then got the meat cooked. Also, the taste of the kadhai wasn't really like that of a kadhai. Lastly the Chai, with the chai, I don't believe they make fresh tea from Chai- Patti. I am pretty confident it was one from the ready to use masala tea bags. It was so disgusting that I stopped right after taking the first sip. I am not sure why they didn't mention that the tea wasn't freshly prepared from fresh doodh and patti. Service- I don't think they understand very well the authentic Indian cuisine. If you are truly looking for authentic Indian cuisine then please go elsewhere. The food here is very Westernized to cater to the local population at the expense of authentic Indian food. The payment machine wasn't working and I had to leave my credit card details, I hope those are destroyed after charging my card. Atmosphere: The atmosphere was also not very pleasant either with extremely loud music from the next door neighbors.

We thought the food was tremendously good up until recently. They had changed up their menu maybe a few months or year back and the new aloo tikki was out of control delicious as well as the biryanis. We ordered food a week ago and everything was disappointing - assumed that was because it was Sunday and maybe they had a bad chef or an off day. Went there for dinner last night (a Friday) and again, everything was terrible or mediocre except for the yellow daal. They’ve changed the naan from the usual fluffy huge pieces to some thin, dry roti version. Not sure what has changed but our best guess is they used to have an awesome chef and that perhaps they have recently changed their staff. We used to eat here or get delivery every few weeks for the past few years since we moved to the area. Now we need to find a steady, good, alternate Indian restaurant in the area. Really unfortunate and inconvenient for us as they are so close by.

Updating review Jan 2018: I'm adding a star for service as the manager did comp us takeout and that kind of service deserves it. Another star because the naan was definitely much improved and the dishes we tried were better than the two times I mention above. However, the caliber and taste of the biryani was still not the same as we've had here historically, so unfortunately they'll remain at 3 stars but we will give them another chance when in a pinch as they are close by for us.

Update 6/15/2018: we got takeout and their quality was amazing again. Let’s hope they stick with it as they are doing it right.

Update 2/22/2020: Last order was below average tasting and had an odd black piece of chicken. Need to pause ordering for a while.

Update sometime during COVID (days blur together, maybe it was May 2020): back to...
