Plaza Diner — Restaurant in Town of Greenport

Just got off the phone with the establishment. Spoke to an individual who acknowledged themselves as the manager. First off, when the phone was picked up, nobody responded for several minutes. When someone finally responded they were very agitated and rude. I asked a simple question regarding the menu and was given an attitude and was told to come into the establishment and see for myself. I was then hung up on my the so called manager. I called back and the “manager” picked up the phone agitated again and I reminded them that I was the customer they hung up on asking about the menu. They proceeded to tell me that I need to come into the establishment if I wanted to know the answer to my question and once again hung up on me. I called back a third time and the “manager” picked up and I asked why they hung up on me and they proceeded to lie and say they had another call on the line and were “really busy” as if that’s justified to hang up on someone without saying anything. They became loud as the conversation went on and I asked them to acknowledge how rude their actions were and what poor customer service that was. They responded by once again saying how busy they were and asking if I wanted to place an order. Ultimately I was hung up on once again, for a third time. As a long time customer, I will never be ordering from their establishment ever again. Worst customer experience and manager I have ever encountered and should be fired from the...

Ok I tried to give this a chance, we have come on three separate occasions. First my daughter and I got breakfast that was a fair middle of the road experience.

Second time was ok, not as good as the prior, but edible, but terrible service, the waitress was very rude, snide comments when we asked for that she forgot, like silverware... And when she didn't come back for ten min we asked another server/busser (queue more snide comments).

Third time we actually just left. One meal came out cold and with stale fries, obviously had been sitting while others were made, the second was ordered no tomatoes and had tomatoes. Sent one back per tomatoes, and the waitress took both microwaved the cold one, and changed plate which is a violation, states the other had been remade which was a lie as it had only had part of the tomato removed and was soggy and tomato laiden still.

My daughters food this time wasn't thing to write home about but edible, not as good as she had the first visit.

As an aside the manager was lovely, and took care of the situation with grace. She handle the situation with decorum and is an asset. She could do well anywhere she decided to go and I would like to give her my...

First off, WHAT A MENU UPGRADE👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿 There were so many new selections placed on the menu and I had an extremely hard time making a decision on what it was that I really wanted to order. Photos attached include a deluxe beef cheeseburger which has fresh tomatoe, lettuce, mushrooms, red onions, yellow and green peppers with a side of fries. You also have pancakes deluxe which includes eggs, bacon, ham and sausage. I ordered extra bacon instead. Last but not least, the appetizer which was potato skins with broccoli and cheese. THAT WAS DELICIOUS. Don't get me wrong, EVERYTHING was great from start to finish. S/o to my server NOAH. He was on point with his service. It was pretty crowded and the atmosphere was calm. It's a great feeling when you walk into a restaurant and pick up the vibes off rip. The servers had it together and you could tell that they all enjoyed working with one another.
