I went here yesterday to get my little sister a phone case, a few seconds after walking in I was asked to show ID, this worker (male) very rudely kept saying “excuse me” over and over, thinking he was a shopper as well, I thought he was trying to get through so I didn’t respond and stood still, then he said “if you keep ignoring me i’m going to kick you out”. Claiming he was security and asked for ID. I didn’t have my ID on me, and even if I did, they don’t sell anything requiring ID, plus personal information such as an address are on my ID, I should not have to provide that. I told him politely I was 18 and that I left my ID in the car, he told me I need to be 21 to chaperone and kicked us out. I’ve gone here many times never had an issue. Thank you for reassuring me that i was fine and not to rush. Having my son screaming for a bottle in his carriage while i was trying to cash out, find his bottle in my bag at the bottom of his carriage, make the bottle, trying to get my wallet and card out, trying to pay, having customers behind me, me trying to rush because i dont want to be the parent that holds up a line because my child is having a meltdown. Thank you for just making me feel so much better because i felt like i was holding you up. Thank you for trying to talk to my son and get his attention from screaming onto you while i was making his bottle. Thank you for treating me so kindly that its sat with me hours...

Bought a few items and was told that the printer was down and that " I could come back in within 14 days for a full refund."

Came back 7 days later and the Manager says " I have seen like 300 customers in the past week" and all she could offer was an exchange but was promised a refund

So I'm never coming back here. Red faced drunk manager lied to me. Go to Latham or Saratoga. Five below as a whole is a great store and I'll shop at other locations but to be lied to is not fair.
