The food was very good. I had a spicy beef dish and my wife had the egg drop soup. Everything was very fresh and what I REALLY Liked was the fact they did not kill the food with salt (like at most Chinese restaurants). The woman (who I assume was the owner) who took our order and served us was a culturally complex experience in herself. As a psychologist I am used to dealing with tricky personalities so it was kind of fun and interesting and different to be treated so, and I put this nicely, indifferently. At this reasonable price point I am not going to this restaurant for the purpose of high and service or a bougie Atmosphere. Well, the lady with the glasses may be lacking customer service personality, sheβs all that business. In that Iβm not going for counter side manners, I am pretty picky when it comes to you the quality of the Chinese food and flavor of sauces. Having said that this food was delicious. We ordered dumplings, broccoli and chicken, and Singapore noodles. The dishes are reasonably priced and filling. Most of the food was fried- itβs a bit heavy but the food was hot and hit the spot after an afternoon on the trails.
We ate at a table near large windows in front where we could watch the ( quiet) streetscape.
