Brock's Deli — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

Things have changed here. Big turn over on the staff. Growing up I would come here 3 times a week. I moved out of town but I was in the area and ordered a hungry man hero breakfast sandwich, it was about 10 bucks.

No big deal, prices are going up everywhere with inflation.

What surprised me is the fact that there is only 1 egg on each half of my hero. I was devastated, I went back inside and showed it to them before biting into the sandwich.

Instead of remaking it with 3 eggs, the way it should have been made they argued with me.

It’s unfortunate but I won’t be returning here. It was always a great feeling to visit and have that hometown feel, but its no longer there.

I went in and spoke to the owner. He responded with “what do you want me to do about it”.

Come here several times a week for breakfast and is always delicious and quickly prepared. The same can be said for lunches no matter what you order. They offer a few different choices for hot food and have a huge board for specialty sandwiches. The only complaint I have for this deli is the posted prices on said board or signs are NEVER correct. Sign could say for example $3.85 for a sandwich and when they ring you up it'll come to $4.45. Is that tax? It's become funny now trying to guess what the total will come to...

What aggravates me the most is I go there all the time and spend a lot of money in this establishment. I get my usual every morning and they burnt the eggs. Now this isn’t the first time they have done that but this time they saw they burnt the eggs questioned to serve it to me and still decided to serve me burnt eggs for my breakfast togo.
