Fuji Cajun Seafood — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

DON'T BOTHER...don't let your curiosity get the best of you. Microwaved seafood boil (yes, kept hearing the timer go off as our food was being prepped as my boyfriend & I were the only ones there), tasteless, watery garlic "butter" sauce which had not one piece of fresh garlic but they probably used garlic powder that settled to the bottom of the bag along with the salty seasoning they used. Corn wasn't fresh, rubbery mussels, flavorless shrimp...just terrible!! After tasting shrimp, a scallops & a mussel, I was done. Take your taste buds & money to Ben's Crab or any other legit seafood spot. This def ain't it!! Two stars for the 2 free drinks given to us by the hostess before we received our food, so I'm sure he knew what was up...

Staying in the area a couple days and found Fugi online. The food was very good and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful in ordering. The fried shrimp were huge and very delicious, with sweet potato waffle fries, they could have been cooked a little more crunchy for our liking but still good. I had the shrimp, sausage and crab legs, with potatoes and corn. It was very good and a large amount of sausage and shrimp, and a cluster of snow crab legs. I ordered a serving of hush puppies, they were so good! Would definitely eat here again if...

Highly Recommended, Highly Satisfied, A Great Hospitality, Perfect Family Restaurant, and overall it’s the best homemade home fried rice and Cajun fries and Seafood are top notch best quality food services where the Owner (chef himself), his Newphew are such a friendly company. I enjoy the business and when whenever I’m around my old neighborhood in Town of Freeport (PORTKNOX NATIVE) I come here to enjoy with my family and my small parrot 🦜 - happy folks and nice...
