Las Gemelas Deli & Restaurant — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

This place is actually trash. I went in one night to grab some papusas. The prices seemed to be great. I waited because they had to make them fresh. When I waited over 20 minutes finally to pay - my meal came up to be 4 dollars and some change and when I handed her the 5$ bill - nothing wrong with it. Not ripped or anything.

She refuses to take it because it was the older type of 5$ bill. She said you can use the the arm to take money out and pay but we can’t take that 5$ bill

I’ve never experienced food...

I've only been here once but I was not disappointed for my first time. I got some pupusas and some hot deli food. It's hard for me to be satisfied with any pupusa but this place makes them pretty good. And I did enjoy the hot food which was authentic Hispanic food. I do hope my 2nd visit is the same...

Demasiada falta de higiene fui a comprar una comida y una de las muchachas que me atendió antes de atenderme a mí andaba barriendo y mapeando y se fue solo a lavar las manos con agua sin usar jabón y usando los mismos guantes con los que había andado recogiendo basura tocando el mapo quería atender eso es una falta de higiene si así es para servir la comida no me imagino lo sucias que son para cocinar ah y todavía agarro actitud y por un container de frijoles licuados pequeño me cobró $6 y yo se que no vale eso pero no le gustó que uno le dijera tiene que tener más cuidado...
