Master Chen Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

On a local Freeport Facebook page, I saw a shout out to Master Chen's Chinese Restaurant. The author wrote great things about the food and I decided to go tonight for a sampling. It was located across from the Freeport LIRR station and I got a spot out front. I ordered my usual and spoke with the owner. She was a lovely, sweet, generous, and humble person. I told her that I read some very positive reviews about her restaurant and she was very grateful and pleased. She said that they take great pride in making delicious food and have been open for six months. When I finally had my meal, I was very happy and found the food to be very fresh and unique compared to typical Chinese take out. I would highly recommend...

Irresponsible customer service. What a dissapointment.

We were very excited to try Master Chen. Unfortunately we had a very bad experience.

We put in an Uber Eats order and it was canceled an HOUR after the original delivery time which we patiently waited for.

We initially called Master Chen to check what the problem was. Customer service said they didn't know what the problem was especially since they had given the order to the Uber driver 45mins ago.

We then saw our order was canceled.

Uber said the restaurant called. When we called the restaurant they said Uber canceled.

Neither a fast delivery from Uber nor good customer service from Master...

Was walking around to see what I can get to eat and I saw this place that new. As soon as I walk in i got a lovely greeting. And there was an old man sitting down and said the food here in the best he travel all the way from ocean side just for the food.
