Ichi Japanese cuisine — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

The most racist people I have ever met ! I was told that they do not service my kind of people and to never come back. And that the restaurant is reserved for white Italians only. Food was under cooked and when asked for the manager one of the cooks appeared and was very disrespectful and demanded I pay for my food before I received my meal . If you live in the area do not and I repeat DO NOT FREQUENT THIS ESTABLISHMENT ITS SUCH A SHAME THAT AN ESTABLISHMENT LIKE THIS DOES NOT RESPECT THE CUSTOMERS THAT ARE GIVING THEM MONEY TO KEEP...

Picked out this place randomly one evening to try out with a friend who lived near by. I’m always a little hesitant to try out new sushi restaurants because I work at a high end sushi restaurant in Manhattan so I’m used to a certain quality. I was surprisingly impressed by the freshness of their fish and deliciousness of their rolls. Everything we tried we loved! Crispy sushi rice and creamy scallop roll were two of my favorites! Overall, I will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to family...

We loved our dinner at Ichi. The place is very clean, pleasant lighting and music in the background. Extensive and interesting menu. Food arrived in 10-15 minutes. Fish tastes great and fresh. We ordered the tuna pepper avocado roll and salmon teriyaki bento box. This comes with side of salad and miso soup.
