Have to say I was disappointed after this visit. This was our third or fourth visit in the last two years. Now I’m wondering if it wasn’t that great, and it seemed better than it was because of finally getting out during Covid. Drinks are good, and reasonable, no doubt. Food is very reasonable, and you can eat here for about the same price as a diner these days. My burger was just ok. I think I’ve had better burgers here. Meat had a bit of an off taste. Roll was bigger than necessary, and slightly chilled. Wife had the French dip and said it too was just ok, and the bread cold. It’s like they took the bread for our sandwiches out of the refrigerator and just served it that way. I also told the waitress i wanted lettuce, tomato, pickle and onion. She said it comes with all that on the side. Well, it does not come with raw onion, or any onion- at least mine didn’t. Maybe she didn’t hear me fully due to the party going on (about 40 people nearby). Even the cheese on the burger was thin, thoroughly melted, and tasteless. It just seemed like hamburger meat, roast beef on French dip, cheese on burger, everything, was of lower quality. The cold bread was a real turn off. I might try the place one more time, and hopefully it’s not as crowded and busy- but if the food is the same…..eh, I’ll probably take it off our list of go to places. It’s probably better as a bar/sports bar, than it is as...
Read morewent yesterday, yes it was very busy being St Patrick Day, but that was what the wife wanted (happy wife happy life) we only had a 15 minutes wait. it was a very small table and a folding chair, i am in a wheelchair so i had my own chair. I was making my own corned beef and cabbage, so was going to get something else, my wife got the potato soup and ordered the Shepherd’s pie. the menu was very limited was really not happy with the choices so ordered the potato soup to be served with the Shepherds pie. Wife’s soup was served and we waited for over 45 minutes, other tables that had come in after us were getting there dinners and we didn’t even have anyone check on our table. So we asked for manager and her answer was “can’t you see we are busy” I am not new to restaurants having over 25 years of kitchen experience and a degree in culinary arts, i explained that being busy is not a reason a table should be waiting for 45 minutes to get there food, ( if you know it’s going to be busy you prep and plan for it) i would have been able to turn that room over three times. she didn’t seem to want to hear it gave me check for the one soup we did have and walked away. if this is how a manager wants to talk with a customer i know this customer is never going there again, you decide...
Read moreThe food at this place is terrible Went there today (Wednesday) and ordered kids burgers, "sizzlin steak" and an adult sized burger and when the food arrived, the burgers weren't cooked properly as half of the meat was cold while the other half was room temperature. This tells me that the meat was likely re-heated in the microwave. Also, the steak was rubbery in texture and had a lot of oil on it for some reason. With so many dining options available in the area, I'd totally skip this place. The service was bad as well as we were never offered refills on our drinks or offered anything else. They didn't even tell us the daily specials when initially taking our order...Once the food arrived, the server disappeared and never returned!!! Save your money and go elsewhere as this place is really bad. Maybe go grab a beer or two at this place and even that is pushing it but to sit and eat, hell no. The food is really that bad........so bad that I wouldn't feed it to my dogs..... we will...
