I have never experienced something like this from an establishment especially from a OWNER that cannot come to senses with the consumer and offer an apology or view things from another point of view. Today i ordered for lunch a baleada with a small order of fried rice (refer to photo). I did not see my portion until i reach back to work and when i open the plate , i was like what is this ??? As a consumer if you order a small order of rice and see this would it not raise question like what kind of portion is this? So, i go back on my lunch time keep in mind , to let the women who served it that i believe the portion was very unfair considering it was served in a small container. Immediately and defensive she says “i only charged you $3 for that and if you want more then it’ll be another $3” i proceed to say, the portion is unfair , how am i suppose to know it’s $3? Why would it be served in a container like that , why not serve it in a cup and then charge a bit more if the consumer wants it in the small container. Proceeds to tell me i can speak to the manager. I wait for the manager , upon her arrival i explain the same thing that it’s pretty unfair portion and if it has a value of $3 then why not charge MORE for the container the consumer is receiving? If it has a value of $5-7 ok go ahead and charge that but don’t serve a customer something like that Atleast change the packaging it’s very deceiving. She goes on to say this rice is not white rice it has beef and shrimp. I completely understand that, but then maybe let the consumer know we offer these sizes for these prices. She was absolutely dismissive and did NOT CARE to hear it she said me as the consumer has to say the dollar amount of rice i would like. I have never in my life ordered a rice with a dollar amount. How am i suppose to know the prices? What if i said let me get a $1 rice does that even make sense??? Then another employee says well then don’t take it. I said it’s been paid for already and management opens the register to return the $3. Again dismissing me not caring to see how poor that looks on the business serving a plate like that. Then proceeds to walk away and throw SHADE when another client ordered a “$15 rice” she says oh a $15 rice thank you for telling me the dollar amount of rice you want I’ll give you a $15 rice. At that moment the argument was done, i walked away because there was nothing else to discuss. A business cannot grow management themselves cannot view things from a bigger picture. Think outside the box. The argument was NEVER give me a gigantic portion for $3. I didn’t even know the plate was $3, the argument was simply i ordered a small order of rice and you believe it’s okay to give that to the consumer. Just charge the value of a dish don’t give me the run around that I have to clarify if i want “a lot or little for specific dollar amount”. Not only are you putting out a poor image of yourself but you’re wasting more containers for a $3 rice…your dish can be $5,7,10 i don’t care charge what it’s worth but be realistic. I work in the area and i will never be back here again nor recommend someone to come here. If you have an issue goodluck having management hear you out they will completely dismiss you and argue with you on why they are correct instead of a...
Read moreExtremely dysfunctional and disorganized business when it comes to mobile orders through third party apps, such as UberEats. These orders are NEVER ready on time when they’re estimated to be, which indicates that the preparation time that the restaurant has set on their UberEats tablet is inadequate. They fail to realize that they have to extend the preparation time for their UberEats orders, so we don’t arrive 10-15 minutes too early. If they care about NOT wasting people’s time, hopefully this review will urge the manager to fix this ongoing issue. It’s such an easy...
