Zou Chinese And Thai Food — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

Clean establishment, courteous and friendly service. My main disapproval has to be the misleading prices. I ordered a lunch special online at $7.60. The app told me that the cost would be $9.76. when I got to the establishment and looked at the menu, I noticed a huge difference in the pricing. The same order that I had placed online was actually $6.75 at the restaurant. MAJOR LETDOWN! I also noticed a $1.50 " convenience fee". Convenient for whom? Certainly not I, being that I had to place the order, and then pay for it. Maybe they meant the convenience for them to prepare the meal for me, I don't know. Then, to add insult to injury, when I received my receipt I noticed that the total had gone from $7.60 to $10.15. How you get from $7.60 ( which by the way should have began at $6.75) to $10.15 is beyond my comprehension. There definitely should be more parity between their online menu pricing and the restaurant priceing. I'm not sure how long they've been around, but with these questionable business practices I'm not sure how much longer they will continue. Heard that there are new owners in town so I decided to come check it out. Two weeks later here I am making a review on how good this place is. I LOVE the Chinese food here, definitely the best Chinese place in my opinion. They also sell Thai now, and that’s delicious as well, especially the pad Thai. I come here every time I’m craving for some great Chinese food like sesame chicken or chicken and broccoli. You MUST order the bubble tea here too, it’s just that good. The service is great and the people are super nice and friendly. They do online orders such as grub hub and beyond menu. I got a soup today on my lunch break from this place it was called Roast Pork and wonton soup and I after eating for about 10 minutes I added more broth starting stirring it and at the top of my soup by the bukcoy was a tiny GREEN CATAERPILLER!!! I took it out and put it in a different container left work just to bring it back to show them that they had a BUG in my soup. They were very apologetic gave me my money back which okay thanks but then the lady who works there continues to say it’s probably apart of the vegetable and I said no that’s a bug.
