Boba Baar — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

Every time after my social studies class, I come over to grab some boba and every single time I enter this place the Boba is extraordinary and I feel like I am in space every sip I take it’s like an adventure in my mouth. I feel like as if I’m dancing on clouds and taking off in the rocket of Boba. Thank you for this mind-boggling experience a flavor. Goodness I can never return to any other place except this whenever I think of Boba, I even recommended it to all my colleagues. I told them if you want an experience that’s out of this world to try Boba baar they will never disappoint and they’re always up to par. If you know what I mean. This is one of the many experiences. I feel like I have to write many words because even words don’t describe the amazing moment I’ve had when I tried the first sip of my taro milk tea. Usually at any other Boba, every sip is a confusing journey, but this one was a journey that knows its path, and I knew my destination. I'm giving up my "50% off if you rate 5 stars". In order for my review to be credible, I rated 4 instead. Considered it's 4.5 stars cause I want my review to matter and reflect credibility and not thinking here is another dude trying to get 50% off his drink.

However, coming from SF Bay area in California, second capital of milk tea world (#1 gotta be Taiwan). I've had milk tea I don't want to go back. This place in the middle of garden city is ok. Rather than trying my luck, I'd rather come here.

Taro milk tea - I highly recommend 50% sweetness. It's already sweet enough for me. Taste is as good as the best one I had.

Cookie and cream milk tea - It's not bad but the % of chocolate and cookie and cream need to switch. I ended up tasting more chocolate than cookie and cream. Also recommend 50% sweetness.

Creme brulee milk tea - perfect. Over 50% sweetness as well and it was perfect.

Service was excellent. You may ask what the heck for a pick up drink place have service? Well, yes. I ordered extra drink for the evening so I asked if they can do no ice. The dude delightfully said no problem.

At some places, they will tag on $.50 for that request. Never heard of it? Come to California or just considered...

My sister and I have never tried Boba or milk tea before and we were nervous because we never really been huge fans of tea in general, but the minute we walked in we knew that it was going to be good! First the atmosphere is very modern and trendy! They even have a digital cashier (a monitor where you can put your orders through). They even have cute little boba plushies! The whole place was very Instagram and in the best way possible! The staff also greeted right when we walked through the door which is very nice since it’s not that common to see anymore! Now to the best part, we got one medium cookies and crème boba tea 50% sweet just because we didn’t know if we were going to like it so we played it safe. I let my sister take the first sip and then she gave it to me and said I have to try it. The second I took a sip I got some Tapioca pearls and they were soooooo delicious! The drink itself was amazing as well! The ice is perfect, the sweetness was perfect and the service was perfect!
