What a cute spot for kids to enjoy on gloomy weather days! They are located behind the McDonald's, they have their logo with an arrow sign to guide you to their location. Plenty of parking in the parking lot.
They are indoors, large open floor plan with various activities including glow in the dark mini golf, two virtual reality stations, 4 lane mini bowling with seats and two tables, decent size arcade area, and a laser course. Mini golf is towards the back, 18 holes with different degrees of difficulty and spooky characters as you go through each hole, some make noises and move. They have a DJ booth in the golf area, and they had kid friendly music playing the entire time, which had us signing and dancing to many songs too. You get a putter and can pick which neon colored ball to use.
There are two semi private rooms for birthday celebrations next to the golf area. Everything is either glow in the dark or spooky themed mini monsters. The bowling area is standard and gives the same bowling experience as a regular alley, just with smaller balls and a smaller lane. We didn't do the laser course, maybe next time. Virtual reality was cool, my kid enjoyed it as it moved the seat and you can watch along with the screen above the station.
Good variety of arcade games; what you would expect. Some of the games were not on/working, which was a slight bummer. You get a card with the credits and activities you paid for preloaded on it, just scan the card wherever you want to play. At the end you bring the card to the front where they scan to tell you how many tickets you won and pick prizes there.
Prices are decent: $13 adult golf, $12 kids golf. Laser course is $15 per person. Virtual reality and bowling is 5 credits per person. They have bundle options too, I picked the ultimate package which brought a kids golf session, 5 bowling frames, $17 arcade card, and one virtual reality game for $30. Not bad at all. They also have a vending machine by the bowling section and separate bathrooms for boys/girls.
Definitely plan to return for more glow in the dark...
Read moreMy five year old had a birthday party here this weekend. The party assistants were sweet. The receptionist was lovely. The mini-golf was first, then the arcades, then the party. Here, they could have done a better job at the outset explaining the schedule, and what we would be doing, but ultimately it worked out. The young kids seemed to have a good time. We had a couple of older kids, and it was perfect for them. If you’re ordering food for your party, the full trays of food are quite large and serve way more than the 16-18 people it says on the website. They won’t make suggestions about the amount of food that’s appropriate for the size of your party, so you really kind of have to just guess based on the vague description on the website. The quality of the food was pretty good. I have included pictures of the trays I snapped in the chaos to help get an idea of the size. It was a little more chaotic than I expected, but was just...
Read moreNew mini golf located in Garden city was okay. Came in on a Friday night with my husband. It’s an arcade as well so lots of kids present. There was also a kids party taking place on a Friday night. We had to wait until the party scheduled completed the course first before we were allowed to golf. Mini golf area not far off from the arcade area. No hot food or beverage purchase available unless you are having a party. They only had bottled water & a few other refreshments for sale. Other than that, they had a vending machine with snacks... Me & my husband were the only ones there with no kids so I felt a bit out of place but I shrugged it off. The staff could have been a...
