The Chef's Table - Lynbrook — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

First time here and overall a very good experience. I tried the bar eggplant meatballs. They were tasty but a bit dry for my taste. Two balls for $10. I also had the Bucatini Carbonera in white sauce. This was excellent, with thick homemade aldonte pasta, bacon, in a creamy cheese sauce. It was tasty without being overly salty. The bread served was the weakest point, being dry and almost stale. It needed a lot of oil to get it down. The atmosphere was pleasant and comfortable. This weekend we hosted a baby shower brunch at The Chefs Table. From beginning to end there was great communication and everything went smooth and turned out perfect. The service, food & drinks were all complimented on by many of our guests. Not only was everything great as far as food and service… but it was closed off to our party only, there’s a very spacious parking lot, and the restaurant itself is very nice looking and provides a nice blank canvas to set up for your event.

Our family celebrated my son’s baptism here with a Sunday early afternoon dinner. We used the price fix menu and a drink package (white/red wine on the table, Peroni drafts) which suited our group very well. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the food was delicious with a great selection. No one was dissatisfied. We had two young children who were also very happy! We will definitely be back for more family parties and even for solo dinners out. We definitely recommend them to others looking for a good...
