Village Juice Garden — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

A cute little juice spot in town, serving up fresh juices, salads, light breakfasts, and more.

I’ve been but a few times and this spot definitely does not disappoint. There’s a decently sized menu of juices, smoothies, and protein shakes, along with a few simple breakfast options, salads, and some other food.

The juices are always delicious. My go to is the Popeye’s brew with spinach, kale, carrots, ginger, and lemon. I love a pure veggie juice without any fruit, so it’s great to have one on the menu without me having to customize. They keeps the juicer machine clean and the veggies all seem nice and fresh.

They don’t do any freshly cooked things for breakfast — the eggs are all boiled. So I went for an avocado toast with an egg. The portion is two big pieces which was definitely satisfying.

The staff are nice folks too, which is always a plus. I love the wood floors and accents, but the seating is a little barebones and not super comfortable with some tables and a few stools at a really high counter by the window. But the view of the Main Street was nice!

Definitely coming back for more...

I've been a long time customer and lately the customer service is horrible but I continued to patronize the business. Yesterday I ordered a large almond joy and it wasn't good at all. The young lady was on the phone with her mother and totally ruined my drink. I know it was her mother because she said something and I thought she was talking to me but she pointed to her ear buds and said she's talking to her mom. She appeared to be having a bad day and her demeanor was very dry ,uninterested and distracted with her phone call which is why my almond joy smoothie tasted like watered down peanut butter and no chocolate flavor. I left super disappointed. To remedy this issue I'd really like to come back and have the smoothie made correctly or I'd like a...

Staff is not friendly at all. Very rude and unhelpful. I have a milk allergy and was wondering if the granola they use has dairy but no one knew the ingredients nor would check ingredient list for me. Personally I think employees should know whether it contains a common allergen or not. They just told me if you aren’t sure then just don’t order which is really rude & upsetting because I work close by and was excited to have an acai bowl for lunch everyday. All other juice bars I’ve gone to kindly read ingredients list for me. I also called multiple times, no one would answer. Took about 3 calls to finally get someone. Asked a simple hi how are you? and was answered with a “yes..” Do better with helping people. What ever happened to good ...
