It’s been rare that I take the time to put a review in for someone. But couldn’t help not review Salon Blu and their AMAZING team and owner Fabrizia. I have been going to queens since I was 12 to the same salon lady who lately has been making my blonde very brassy unfortunately. In between tried other places but they can’t ever get the shade of blonde I want and I just end up wasting money. Wanted to find a new place by my new house. Was lucky enough to find Salon Blu just 5 mins away and they did not disappoint!!!!! Called several times to adjust my schedule and come in earlier and they even instructed me on where to park properly. Gave Fabrizia very minimal details of what I wanted for my half head highlights and first time ever! Someone gave me the exact shade of blonde I have been trying to achieve. My only regret was not doing my full head. Amazing environment experience and the best team of ladies taking care of you. Can’t wait to go back this fall for...

This is a little gem of a salon. Modern, bright, and with staff that really makes you feel welcome- before you know it, you’re part of the family! And as much as I really love the stylists and assistants, I won’t let anyone but Suzanne touch my hair. If you have short hair, you know how hard it is to find someone who will make sure every hair is in place…because on short hair, every hair matters! Suzanne also has a full head of curls, so her ‘curly girl’ clients seek her out, knowing that from personal experience, she can make their naturally curly hair take shape and shine. She is funny, always smiling…I know some guests come just because they like to see her! Salon Blu is the brainchild of color specialist Fabrizia Borghese, who saw this as the culmination of her years of experience coupled with a vibrant talented staff, situated in the charming town of Malverne. Took a leap of faith trying this place out after going to my usual place for 5+ years since this location is much closer to my home.

I got a wash, cut, and blowout. Alexa was my hair dresser and she was very kind and professional. After my thorough wash, she asked me what I wanted. I showed her some pictures of layered haircuts, and she asked how much I wanted cut off and I told her I'd like to keep my length.

She was super professional and respected my wishes and kept checking in throughout the appointment on length being ok, whether the blowdryer was hot, whether i wanted some texturizing, etc. She has a personality that lets you be comfortable and she is super easy to talk to!

The haircut turned out super beautiful and I feel so pretty & feminine! I am really happy with the cut and will most likely return in a few...
